What will I be responsible for in this job? (brief summary of the role)
This Java Cloud Engineer will have the opportunity to work in the rapidly evolving healthcare information technology space. The engineer will be working with an agile team on the Change Healthcare Revenue Cycle Analytics suite of applications that recently migrated to the AWS Cloud. We allow our customers near-real time access to critical information that helps businesses optimize their revenue cycle by utilizing our big data platform. Responsibilities will include the analysis, design, programming, and debugging of new and existing solutions while optimizing for the cloud. What are the requirements?• Years of experience:
3+ years’ experience with Java frameworks like Spring Boot for RESTful APIs
2+ years’ experience working with the AWS Cloud
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience

What critical skills are needed for you to consider someone for this position?
High understanding of database queries– analyze existing queries and build new ones
Knowledge of database related technologies: Redshift, Oracle, SQL Server
Experience working within the Linux environment
Strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills
Strong verbal and written communication skills
Showcase high enthusiasm, integrity, creativity, results-orientation
What other skills/experience would be helpful to have?
AWS Cloud Practitioner Certification
Experience with Apigee
Healthcare domain experience
Exposure to Atlassian suite of tools (JIRA, Confluence)
