Joint Use & Construction Engineer or Analyst
Location Negotiable in Montana (Billings, Bozeman, Butte, Great Falls, Helena or Missoula)
QUALIFICATIONS INCLUDE:
- Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, or, in business, economics, math/statistics, data science, or other related field
- Ability to demonstrate and maintain a good safety record
- Strong interpersonal communication skills
- Knowledge of NESC and NEC
- Valid Drivers License and satisfactory driving record
- Very proficient with computers and related equipment
- Good organizational and technical skills
- Ability to plan and prioritize numerous responsibilities
- Highly motivated, self-starter with good analytical, interpersonal and team skills
- Ability to handle high-stress situations and make decisions quickly and accurately
- Very good attention to detail and ability to consolidate information and ideas
- Work effectively with minimal supervision
- Ability to primarily spend time in an office and with some field work
- Ability to lift and carry office supplies up to 35 pounds
- Ability to pass an employment physical,a drug test and a background check
- Working knowledge and experience in construction and design preferred
- Experience with SAP, line design and DDS preferred
DUTIES INCLUDE:
- Adhere to company safety standards and the Code of Business Conduct & Ethics
- Respond quickly and professionally to support data and field requests as required
- Review joint use (telecommunication) attachment applications
- Review engineering work for accuracy and constructability
- Provide crew instruction, clarification, and guidance during construction as needed
- Attend meetings to report progress and issues
- Maintain positive working relationships with all NorthWestern Energy departments and contractors
Engineering Position will also include the following duties:
- Review engineering work for accuracy and constructability and provide recommendations for changes to adhere to construction standards
- Contribute to solutions that meet technical requirements, applicable codes, applicable standards, and regulatory requirements
Full-time position.
Analyst pay range is $54,000 to $121,800 per year and Engineer pay range (must have Engineering Degree) is $62,900 to $135,200 per year, depending on experience.
