This position will oversee the day-to-day activities of the firm’s IT infrastructure systems and all related interfaces, ensuring that the systems, services, and infrastructure work reliably and securely. The position requires extensive experience with Windows Server (2016-2022), Active Directory design, GPO, Networking , AWS, Azure, Office365, and the ability to learn new technology on demand. You will oversee the annual disaster recovery tests of internal systems, including the restoration of backups to predetermined sites and systems. This role requires a degree of flexibility and collaborative working both within Technology and across the firm. Provides strategic guidance and leadership to the operations department and its technicians and monitors the performance of business-critical systems to prevent delays and outages and quickly resolve ongoing issues.

Essential Job Functions:

  • Track cost savings opportunities for all of IT Operations Optimization efforts and Annual Spend

  • Actively monitor our company operations and make recommendations to Infrastructure Team management about enhancing business processes, improving financial performance and company structure.

  • Act as a liaison between business users and IT Infrastructure via managing tactical IT projects while providing strategic and tactical planning, development, evaluation, and delivery of IT Operations

  • Track, analyze and monitor technology performance & spend metrics and translate those into cost saving actions.

  • Ability to manage dynamic, fast-paced projects with exceptionally difficult technical and/or scheduling objectives

  • Provide feedback, instruction, and developmental guidance to help others excel in their current or future job responsibilities; planning and supporting the development of individual skills and abilities

  • Effectively explain complex technical concepts to both technical and non-technical staff.

  • Provides tactical planning, development, evaluation, and coordination of the information operations technology systems

  • Oversees/Test/Implements new infrastructure under Change Management

  • Facilitates communication between staff, management, vendors, and other technology resources within the firm

  • Provides 2nd and 3rd level support to IT Operations, troubleshoots problems, answers hardware and software questions, and provides technical assistance

  • Monitor the performance of business-critical systems to prevent delays and outages and quickly resolve ongoing issues.

  • Ensure all system are patched within defined corporate policies.

  • Ability to manage dynamic, fast-paced projects with exceptionally difficult technical and/or scheduling objectives

  • Document problem resolutions into the appropriate systems

  • Maintains a good working knowledge of all Corporation owned hardware and software

  • Maintain and migrate legacy systems to cloud first technologies

  • Coach, develop and evolve Infrastructure Operations team by setting clear goals, breaking down silos, removing obstacles and providing needed coaching and training

  • Ensure all staff is provided with training and resources needed to perform their jobs to the most outstanding degree possible

  • Other activities as may be assigned by your manager

Qualifications/ Requirements:

  • Associate degree in related field or equivalent combination of education and experience

  • Minimum of 6+ years of industry and/or relevant experience, typically with 1+ years in a Senior Associate level role or external equivalent.

  • 5 or more years’ experience in Network Operations and Design preferred

  • 5 or more years’ experience with Windows operation systems preferred

  • Current Certifications preferred, MCSE, MCSA, CCNA, AWS Solutions Architect

  • Demonstrated ability to drive organizational change and build capabilities that effectively balance optimizing operational efficiency

  • Proven ability to scope and execute projects within capacity constraints with quality, on time and on budget

  • Excellent interpersonal skills, including the ability to build and maintain effective working relationships

  • Working knowledge of Monitoring tools such as SolarWinds NPM/NCM, PRTG, PagerDuty

  • Accomplished in developing technology strategy, crafting solutions, and implementing and leading change

  • Demonstrated experience building an IT team with evidence of improved security and cost savings achieved in implementation

  • Ability to travel to company sites as needed to assist with company projects, backend support, and end user support

  • Superior professional written and verbal communication and interpersonal skills

  • Exceptional interpersonal skills, with a focus on rapport-building, listening and questioning skills.

  • Ability to motivate teams to produce quality materials within tight timeframes and simultaneously manage several projects

  • Strong organization/project planning, time management, and change management skills across multiple functional groups and departments, and strong delegation skills involving prioritizing and reprioritizing projects and managing projects of various size and complexity

  • Flexibility to work shifts outside of normal working hours

  • Requires the ability to be on call and support a 24/7/365 operations

The annual full time base salary range for this role is

$120,000.00 - $150,000.00

Specific compensation is determined through interviews and a review of relevant education, experience, training, skills, geographic location and alignment with market data. Additionally, certain positions may be eligible to receive a discretionary bonus as determined by bonus program guidelines, position eligibility and SitusAMC Senior Management approval. SitusAMC offers PTO and paid holidays, the terms of which are set forth in the program policies. All full time employees also are eligible to participate in various benefit plans, including medical, dental, vision, life, disability insurance and 401K; in each case in accordance with the terms of the applicable plans.
