Meta Learning Program Manager, Legal & Compliance in Helena, Montana

Summary:

Meta’s Legal Learning & Development team is looking for an experienced learning and development professional to join our team and to help contribute to a culture of compliance and responsibility at Meta.This individual will work closely with other Legal Learning & Development team members, along with cross-functional partners and external vendors, to lead the design of complex and strategic legal & compliance learning projects for our new hire experiences, annual experiences, and our leader/manager training within Meta Legal.

Required Skills:

Learning Program Manager, Legal & Compliance Responsibilities:

  1. Drive and own end-to-end strategic learning design leadership, year over year, for our new hire, annual, and leader/manager training programs

  2. Work in partnership with our Learning Business Partners to assess upfront needs & requirements for our programs each year

  3. Facilitate requirements gathering and collaborate on the creation of integrated project plans and timelines

  4. Using instructional design strategies and frameworks, and working in partnership with our Learning Solutions Consultants, assess requirements, and recommend appropriate learning strategies and solutions for complex Legal content and Compliance skills & behaviors

  5. Oversee design team program managers and vendor resources in the development of instructionally-sound, engaging training assets for a global audience

  6. including ILT, e-learns, video/animations, and job aids, and as needed, design, script, and build training materials

  7. Work in partnership with our Learning & Analytics & Measurement team to develop measurement plans, assess impact and effectiveness of projects, and utilize insights gathered to inform future work on the programs

  8. Demonstrate strong ability to both engage directly with leadership and management of all levels on strategy/key summaries and be able to work at tactical level within working teams

  9. Display effective organizational and communication skills while managing multiple and competing priorities

  10. Demonstrate attention to detail in executing and reviewing work products to ensure the highest quality deliverables within approved timelines and budget while collaborating with a variety of stakeholders on execution

  11. Integrate and synthesize technical, substantive, and contextual business information from multiple teams and sources to design effective learning solutions that meet the needs of the business

  12. Identify and escalate issues or roadblocks quickly and find appropriate solutions to keep project(s) moving forward

  13. Keep project plans and statuses up-to-date

  14. When needed, oversee and support other team members or contingent workers who are working on your projects

  15. This job may require 3-4 days of travel per month for on-site team or stakeholder meetings at various Meta offices

Minimum Qualifications:

Minimum Qualifications:

  1. 10+ years of experience in learning & development, using instructional systems design models and methodologies, designing for different authoring tools, and demonstrated understanding of learning management systems integration

  2. Experience designing complex and simple learning solutions

  3. Experience designing and leading execution of solutions for modalities including experiential instructor-led training, interactive eLearning, and various content authoring software including Rise, Storyline, and Adapt

  4. Experience leading departmental and enterprise-wide learning projects and facilitating partnerships and leading meetings with senior business stakeholders

  5. Experience working consultatively with stakeholders and cross-functional partners to manage learning projects from needs analysis to measurement

  6. Experience working in a fast-paced environment under competitive timelines

  7. Experience working with business stakeholders in upper-management and leadership roles

Preferred Qualifications:

  1. Degree (or equivalent continuing education) in Learning Science, Education, Instructional Technology or related field

  2. Experience designing solutions that integrate less traditional learning modalities, including leveraging bots, immersive learning such as VR/AR, 360 degree videos, chat/messenger applications, podcasts, just-in-time support

  3. Experience in learning & development team lead roles within the technology or professional services industries

  4. Experience working on Legal, Privacy, Security, Compliance, or Risk projects

  5. Experience designing new hire, mandatory, and/or compliance training specifically targeted for leaders and managers
