What Digital Marketing & Ecommerce contributes to Cardinal Health

Marketing is responsible for assessing customer needs, market conditions and competition to inform business strategy. Marketing implements the strategy through developing, commercializing and monitoring the appropriate products and services.

Digital Marketing & Ecommerce is responsible for developing and driving digital marketing campaigns and strategies that meet and/or exceed business objectives and provide additional insight about our customers across all digital channels.

Summary

Cardinal Health is looking for a versatile Digital Product Owner who’s excited to craft digital products and services that help real people while supporting your colleagues as a member of the Web Operations team managing the cardinalhealth.com digital property.

The Web Operations (Web Ops) team is a strategic partner to our corporate, marketing, communications, sales and product teams, providing relevant information about our products and services on our websites. Our team manages all content publishing for cardinalhealth.com and eight international websites that support the public-facing customer experience, brand equity and lead generation. Web Operations also manages the complexities of web-based applications and the systems that support them.

Our websites are our “always-on” sales and marketing team, and therefore strive to deliver quality experiences that have a direct impact to our users, whether they are current or prospective customers, investors, job seekers, or anyone looking to gather more information about our business.

Responsibilities

  • Gathers and documents requirements for feature enhancements, bugs, technical changes and investigative opportunities to the platform

  • Actively seeks opportunities for enhancements or new feature builds

  • Serves as the liaison between the Web team and the technical team and effectively communicates all expectations to technical partners

  • Represents the client or business stakeholder to the IT development team

  • Manages all sprint related activities; including sprint planning, entry and exit amigos, release sign-off and deployment support

  • Identifies and remains current on audience needs

  • Determines capabilities, product or services needed to achieve the expectation

  • Partners with the Manager of Web Operations to identify authoring, component and template requirements and improvements needed to support the authoring experience

  • Partners with the User Experience Lead to gather customer and stakeholder feedback to drive business requirements and decisions

  • Maintains a focus on the competitive landscape of digital capabilities across the industry and competitors and leverages this focus to drive updates to the experience

  • Works effectively across cross functional groups including but not limited to IT, Communications, Sales, Marketing and HR

  • Tests and validates all changes to ensure stability of the digital properties, and documents any issues found during the troubleshooting process

  • Creating and coordinating communications including planned feature releases and disseminating among internal stakeholders

  • Ensures that developed solutions meet the company's strategic and tactical business needs, client and business stakeholder needs and is suitable to the platform or product for which they are built

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in related field, or equivalent work experience, preferred

  • 8+ years of experience, preferred

  • Experience with Adobe Experience Manager (AEM) required

  • Experience with other Adobe suites a plus (Adobe Analytics, Target, Launch)

  • Experience working closely with an IT development team to define and drive requirements, test development work, etc.

  • Exhibits an ability to translate market and customer needs into clearly defined goals, objectives and requirements for improving the experience

Anticipated salary range : $103,500-$147,900

The salary range listed is an estimate. Pay at Cardinal Health is determined by multiple factors including, but not limited to, a candidate’s geographical location, relevant education, experience and skills and an evaluation of internal pay equity.
