The Manager/Senior Manager of M&A Agility and Integration is a new and exciting role that will report to the VP of M&A Agility and Integration and help drive the overall business accountability and ownership for the Merger and Acquisition Agility Corporate Strategic Initiative (CSI) program. This individual will work closely with our executive leadership, acquired company leadership and a cross-functional team spanning finance, business technology, distribution and product to transform how we integrate and scale our acquired businesses. This role will help drive the establishment of the overall program vision and business outcomes. The successful candidate will help drive business decisions and stakeholder consensus as we align our acquired businesses with our GTM systems and processes to support our long term growth.
The ability to drive and influence a wide set of stakeholders to strategic outcomes is a critical competency for this role. You will be responsible in driving key “in flight” integration programs forward. As such, the ideal candidate will have excellent knowledge of program and project management processes and procedures, methodologies, and best practices, particularly in managing complex M&A integration programs. Candidate must possess excellent communication skills, experience managing projects in a large enterprise organization, the ability to drive decisions and projects to completion, and enjoy working in a dynamic environment.
Drive In Flight M&A Integration programs
Create and manage program plans and other key program artifacts (e.g., Program Governance, Resource Plan, DACI, Key Decision Frameworks, etc.)
Ability to manage one large and a few small integration programs concurrently
Ensure that project gates and governance are properly adhered to throughout the program lifecycle
Drive multi-functional stakeholder teams to outcomes defined as part of the CSI M&A Agility Program
Balance different stakeholder needs to optimize the delivery of business value
Very articulate in helping stakeholders understand the priority of their requirements relative to other priorities
Build trusted relationships with stakeholders and the working team
Quantitative analysis of business goals and drivers
Preempt escalations by anticipating trouble spots
Seek to understand business constraints and is able to work productively to remove obstacles
Evangelize/represent project to adjacent teams and other stakeholders
Leverage business knowledge and expertise to drive business process improvements.
Required Skills and Knowledge
5+ years of work experience successfully managing large-scale programs with multiple sub-projects and project managers
5+ years in strategic sales/business operations, M&A integration, or similar experience managing cross-functional projects with a proven track record of delivering business value
Bachelor's degree in Business Administration and/or Information Technology or equivalent experience
Prior experience leading M&A Integration a huge plus
Understanding of lead to cash and CRM business technologies and processes
Demonstrated experience in gathering and transforming enterprise level business needs into an actionable product vision and requirements definition
Demonstrated experience managing a diverse set of customers, end users, and stakeholders
Demonstrated negotiation, conflict management and leadership skill
Demonstrated ability to prioritize requirements to deliver maximum business value
Excellent organizational skills, analytic capabilities, and attention to detail
Strong communication skills
Experience presenting to executive leadership and handling sensitive customer escalations
