Job Description This can be a remote position; the selected candidate can reside and perform the work from anywhere within the United States. The Role: Integrate GM's Cultural/Leadership Behaviors in our work and in our relationships to accomplish our GM Vision of Zero Crashes Zero Emissions Zero Congestion. Responsibilities: Develop Cultural Ambassadors globally to become stronger facilitators, coaches and consultants to drive higher collaboration, inclusion and accountability for our culture. Make GM History by working with a team of highly talented professionals to execute and sustain a culture movement that creates workplaces where 160,000 employees can bring their whole selves to work everyday to achieve a vision that saves time, saves lives and saves the planet. Credibility On Demand: Innate ability to build credibility and trust quickly with diverse audiences at all levels of the organization. Culture Expert/Workplace Consultant: over 10 years of experience leading culture initiatives in large, global organizations successfully. Moment Maker: Creates impactful culture moments for teams at all levels (including executive level) where they want you back to consult with them on how to integrate culture in their daily interactions and business decisions. Executive Coaching: Over ten years of experience helping executives and people leaders integrate desired leadership behaviors that empower employees and achieve business results. Accountability Partner: Ability to hold leaders accountable for keeping their commitment to people engagement by keeping culture as a priority in how they achieve their business results and how they treat their team members. Natural Motivator: Ability to inspire employees at all levels of a global organization to care about culture and change their behavior virtually and in-person. Storytelling is essential in delivering inspirational messages and gives a voice to people who are facing challenges and adversity. Curriculum Designer: Over 10 years of experience developing culture training and development tools and models that are simple and easily applicable for all employees ranging from GM plants to New Hires of all positions to Executive Teams in various functions including Engineering, Sales and Marketing and Growth & Innovation. Master Facilitator: Ability to get people to share their truth and information that they would not ordinarily share. This is extremely helpful in overcoming conflict within teams and across cross functional teams and in facilitating optimal activities and exercises that drives real behavioral change, virtually and in-person. Must be able to adapt on the fly in facilitating sessions and meetings yet still get to the desired outcome within the time frame given. Must be confident and have a passion for winning others over to help the most stubborn become your strongest advocates. YOU ARE ALWAYS ON STAGE. Multi-Connector: Must be able to remember people's names and motivators in first interactions across the entire organization. Resources are limited so you have to be able to get things done through leveraging a diverse community of people globally. These connections must be made virtually and in-person. Maximizer: Must work smart and be organized as their will be plenty of demand for your time. There is zero tolerance for being late or missing meetings. You must be a leader that everyone can count on 100%. Anything less will destroy your credibility. Innovative Learner: Must stay up to date about what is going on in the organization and in your expertise of people and culture. Keeping up to date about the latest research findings about people and culture helps you stay cutting edge and innovative so you can best help our leaders and teams integrate culture in everything that they do. Also, be smart on who you consult with and seek feedback from ensuring that it is inclusive. Problem-Solver: Can quickly identify the core problems and mindsets that holds teams back from achieving desired results and the desired culture state, provide innovative solutions and help them integrate those solutions through accountability and follow-up. Mobilizer: Able to rally and inspire hundreds of Customer Ambassadors globally to drive their team and organization's culture forward in their respective workplaces. Human Sigma Expert: Over ten years of experience measuring the impact that culture has on business results. This is done from a local level as well as an enterprise-wide level. Collecting stories of measurable impact is essential in keeping the organization's focus on culture a top priority. Additional Job Description Recommended Skills: 4-year degree required Design Thinking Facilitator and Coach Strengths Finder Facilitator and Advocate Adept at MS Teams and facilitating interactive webinars using the MS Teams platform Master's Degree in Human Resources or Business Management is preferred. Over 10 years of automotive experience Compensation: The median level of salary compensation for this role is $134,326.
