Media Relations Coordinator - Remote
Core Responsibilities: Candidate will play a key role in TTEC’s external communications efforts, leveraging storytelling skills, industry knowledge, and a nose for news to pitch and place company experts within earned outlets to advance TTEC’s market-leading reputation.
The successful candidate will be high-energy with a strong work ethic and a willingness to take risks and demonstrate creativity. This is an excellent opportunity to define success for a new role and function within TTEC communications.
Minimum of 1-3 years of media relations experience, preferably in technology or consumer-facing industries
Proactive and creative proactive mindset who thrives in nimble, complex, fast-paced environment
Nose for news to accelerate sourcing new storylines, newsjacking, and executive positioning with core media outlets
Ability to identify, develop, and maintain valuable relationships with key journalists who influence the market in which TTEC conducts business
Must be organized and metrics-driven, with ability to multi-task and thrive in a deadline-oriented environment
Must track and analyze results, and offer counsel for retargeting and improvement
Must be comfortable writing opeds, byliners and long-form social media entries
Must have strong critical thinking skills, impeccable judgment and proven ability to work with media outlets as well as senior executives
Strong project management and end-to-end execution capabilities are required, along with an ability to collaborate with business and marketing leadership around the world
Ability to understand complex subject matter quickly, and effectively synthesize the information into clear and concise deliverables, including social media.
Familiarity and expertise with digital tools including Meltwater and more
COMPENSATION & BENEFITS
The anticipated starting range for individuals expressing interest in this position is $47,000 - $62,000. This position is eligible to participate in an annual incentive program. Actual compensation offers to a candidate may vary based upon geographic location, work experience, education and/or skill levels.
