State of Montana Montana Film Office Student Intern in Helena, Montana

About this Position Brand MT -The marketing, communications, film and tourism programs are all part of a versatile and cohesive Brand MT team that works to sustain and grow Montana’s economy. The programs develop and use communications, advertising, development and promotional campaigns to showcase Montana and create awareness about the state as a place to visit and do business. Through data-driven strategies and grant programs, the team aims to preserve and promote the genuine character of Montana and partners to achieve a sustainable economic future for all. The Montana Film Office (MFO) Student Intern will gain real world experience in cataloging the MFO physical photo database to learn the Library of Congress cataloging system that is used with the Montana Memory Project and Montana Historical Society in Montana. The intern will select, scan, label and catalog photo files from the on-site database and prepare them for uploading to the Montana Memory project. The intern will also learn the structure of the Montana Film Office, the Reel-Scout Database program, and work with the video database that is on-site at the MFO.
