The North America Cloud Infrastructure (NACI) Division is crafting a new Strategic Pursuit Team (SPT) which will focus on partnering with C-Level client executives (many of whom are already significant Oracle customers) across our top vertical markets – including Healthcare, Retail, Banking, and Telecommunications – to accelerate their adoption of cloud technologies.
This team will lead in partnering with clients to establish an enterprise-wide execution framework to be tailored for each vertical market. This position will align with field sales, engineering, product, and business-value services and have the highest visibility among NACI’s executive team as Oracle invests to secure strategic commitments to Oracle Cloud.
ENGAGEMENT MODEL
The Strategic Pursuits Team will consist of highly skilled members with at least 10+ years of experience operating within the Fortune 50 in information technology sales, consulting, or management.
Be responsible for Oracle’s executive relationships with our largest customers. A key responsibility will be delivering customer value and outstanding service to achieve revenue growth across the customer base.
Engage in opportunities when they are within 1-year of closing.
Focus on building and strengthening Oracle’s importance with customers by identifying, developing, defining, architecting, and assisting in closing large strategic deals that support customers’ journey to the cloud.
Responsible for developing deep insight into customers’ strategic goals and often structuring complex solutions which draw on multiple Oracle business units.
Work closely with customer C-suite and their direct reports to understand near and long-term central initiatives, technology roadmap, and business issues, translating them into Oracle solutions and making ambitious plays as vital.
Understand Azure, GCP, and AWS products and business models and clearly articulate how Oracle solutions differentiate and have direct value to customers.
Develop internal and external strategic client relationships at scale that drive customer dedication and promote collaboration across all business units.
Do things differently with pricing and negotiation to secure long-term customer happiness.
Demonstrate confirmed questioning and listening skills in formal and informal settings; communicate effectively with all collaborators; be an exceptional representative of Oracle and have the capability of sharing Oracle’s story in a compelling manner that is relevant to our customers and partners.
Take a SWOT (strengths, weakness, opportunities, threats) problem-solving approach.
Be a change agent, game changer, and collaborator to mobilize the One Oracle Story.
Keep a pulse on industry trends, market dynamics, competitive pressures, and exciting forces of the market ecosystem that drive transformation on the account to:

Business and technology thought leadership to be able to collaborate with development, marketing, and field sales to shape and deliver partnership products and programs that supplement Oracle’s technology portfolio.
Proven track record of architecting complex big deals with large multinational corporations.
Direct knowledge and understanding of the top cloud hyperscaler’s technology, business models, and deal constructs, including AWS, GCP and Azure.
Ability to work collaboratively and inclusively with colleagues across the organization.
A strong balance of strategic and tactical skills, with high intellectual agility and capacity for original thought.
A strong focus on execution. An executive with the appropriate level of drive and “toughness” to effectively manage in a fast-paced environment, ensuring results and deadlines are achieved without damaging morale.

Documented experience influencing IT and positioning our Cloud differentiators and LOB to map PaaS solutions like AI, Machine Learning, IoT, High-Performance Computing, and Blockchain to solve modern business problems.
Excellent executive presentation skills are a must.

Range and benefit information provided in this posting are specific to the United States only
Hiring Range: from $187,500 to $314,200 per annum. May be eligible for equity and compensation deferral. Eligible for commission with an estimated pay mix of 50/50.
Oracle maintains broad salary ranges for its roles in order to account for variations in knowledge, skills, experience, market conditions and locations, as well as reflect Oracle’s differing products, industries and lines of business.
Candidates are typically placed into the range based on the preceding factors as well as internal peer equity.

Paid time off: Flexible Vacation is provided to all eligible employees assigned to a salaried (non-overtime eligible) position. Accrued Vacation is provided to all other employees eligible for vacation benefits. For employees working at least 35 hours per week, the vacation accrual rate is 13 days annually for the first three years of employment and 18 days annually for subsequent years of employment. Vacation accrual is prorated for employees working between 20 and 34 hours per week. Employees working fewer than 20 hours per week are not eligible for vacation.
