Summary:
Network Efficiency Team is part of the overall Meta Infrastructure organization. The team’s mission is to help Meta utilize efficient and flexible networking infrastructure to let engineering teams move fast and ship products. This team leverages cutting-edge machine-learning techniques to tackle various network analytical problems. We cover our ever-growing data centers, the global backbone that connects all our locations, and our edge points-of-presence.

Network Analytics, Manager Responsibilities:
Build and retain a world-class engineering team to guard the network resource control and efficiency
Develop and build service oriented network quota systems
Define and deliver on project roadmap to incorporate both strategic and tactical capacity planning
Work cross-functionally with highly technical software and network infrastructure teams, understand their goals, and create tools and visualizations to get the right data in the hands of teams to make decisions
Align the team to execute new initiatives to optimize network usage
Recruit and mentor a discipline engineering team
Minimum Qualifications:
Minimum Qualifications:
3+ years of experience in planning in mission critical production environment
BS or MS (in Engineering, Operations Research, computer related)
2+ years experience leading and managing teams within an engineering organization
Experience in software engineering, performance analysis, or large-scale distributed systems
Proven relationship management experience and experience working within a global organization
Experience in providing technical leadership and guidance
Knowledge of networking domain as it applies to capacity planning
Experience in communicating across the organization, including sourcing, engineering, product services, and program management
