Job Description This is a remote position; the selected candidate can reside and perform the work from anywhere within the United States. The Role: GM is undergoing a major transformation, both in how we operate and in how we will influence the future of transportation. Our Global Talent Acquisition (GTA) team is on the forefront of this work, emboldening our culture by seeking out determined, innovative individuals who will join our team to help move us forward and achieve our mission. We are looking for a high-performing Operation Leader who can expertly lead team of recruiters from sourcing through onboarding. The right person must have the capability to lead and create advocacy to help us build and execute state-of-the-art recruiting strategies. The Leader should be based in the United States to be in close proximity with the GTA Leadership team as well the business they'll support. Responsibilities: Manage, lead and mentor a team of recruiters to ensure world class recruiting services Partner and proactively build collaborative relationships with hiring leaders of assigned functional areas to understand hiring needs and business objectives, as well as candidates' level of experience and desired characteristics or proficiencies As the leader, partner and consult with functional area's Human Resource professionals and hiring leaders to develop desired recruiting strategies, source and screen qualified internal and external candidates, and professionally onboard new employees Employ continuous improvement through consistent re-assessment of recruiting plans, methods, tools and processes Provide thought leadership and change management support to Global Talent Acquisition strategic initiatives and the business Partner with Diversity & Inclusion team to support hiring plans comprehending corporate hiring initiatives for diversity, gender, veterans, and those with disabilities Leverage internal reporting and analytics to ensure recruiters are proactively presenting candidate slates that meet the experience and qualification parameters defined in the recruiting strategy Understand the external factors that impact the supply of top talent, GM's strong position, salary level structure, candidate supply, and candidate requirements for various job categories Additional Job Description Requirements: 5+ years progressive talent acquisition/human resources experience Management/leadership experience preferred Proven track record of establishing collaborative partnerships Undergraduate degree preferred Ability to drive change using data Understanding of the latest recruiting platforms and technologies Desired skills: Ability to develop, inspire and motivate a team Foster collaboration and teamwork Willingness to provide strategic perspective, take intelligent risks and act as a champion of change Evidence of strong character with integrity, honesty, accountability and trust Demonstrate initiative, problem-solving, sound communications skills Compensation: The median level of salary compensation for this role is $109,283.
