St. Peters Health Outpatient Phlebotomy Supervisor - 1.0 FTE in Helena, Montana
The Outpatient Phlebotomy (OPP) Supervisor maintains all regulatory and accreditaion requirements for the OP area of phlebotomy and specimen processing in the laboratory. The incumbent will oversee staff to perform all elements of phlebotomy, specimen processing, and transportation in phlebotomy area to meet the needs of patient care. They will also oversee quality control, quality assurance, and lead OPP patient experience improvement efforts of the area coordinated. They will conduct 60 day and annual reviews for coordinators and pre-analytic staff. The Outpatient Phlebotomy Supervisor will oversee the scheduling, inventory, maintainance, and other daily operational pieces to ensure patients’ needs and expectations are being exceeded while in compliance with all regulatory standards. They will ensure compliance, completion and storage of all training and competency documentation for OPP while adhering to timelines set by the People Department. The Outpatient Phlebotomy Supervisor will also be expected to provide coaching when needed surrounding emotional intelligence, psychological safety and other behavioral standard level conversations.
