Carroll College Part-time Head Cheer Coach in Helena, Montana
Description: Carroll College invites applications for the position of Head Cheer Coach. Responsibilities for this 10 month, part-time position include oversight of all aspects of the day-to-day operations including but not limited to: scheduling of dance competitions, coordination of spirit events, the recruitment and retention of quality student-athletes; fiscal management of operating budget; skill and technique development; donor fundraising; alumni and community relations; coordination of youth engagement experiences; and possible additional duties within the Department of Athletics. The successful candidate must be able to develop positive relationships with faculty, staff, students, media, alumni, and donors while interacting successfully with department personnel and the college community. The Head Cheer Coach must manage the cheer program in compliance with all national association, conference and institutional rules and regulations, while aligning the management of the dance program with the mission of Carroll College.Qualifications: The successful candidate will have 3 years demonstrated successful cheer instruction experience. Preferably, experience directing a cheer program in a collegiate or secondary educational setting. Excellent leadership ability, developed interpersonal communication skills and the ability to support the mission of the college.Applicants must be currently authorized to work in the United States on a full-time basis.
