The Role
Lumen’s Global Partner Solutions organization seeks an experienced Partner Strategy leader to lead our Partner Strategy initiative. In this role, you will be responsible for driving the development and implementation of key partner initiatives. You will provide strategic leadership, exceptional analytics, and operational excellence for our Global Partner Solutions team. You will partner closely with our partner GTM teams, partner programs, partner success & enablement, and partner marketing teams to plan and execute Lumen’s partner strategy.
The successful candidate will be data-driven, have a proven track record of scaling partner sales organizations, possess a broad understanding of sales, channel, and business operations within the SaaS & NaaS industry, and can combine strategic, analytical, big-picture thinking to drive detailed, operational excellence in Lumen’s partner ecosystem. This person must be a hands-on leader who embraces and drives change to ensure productivity and efficiency across our partner sales organization.
The Main Responsibilities
Strategy:
Building and Managing Partner Strategy: Lead the development and execution of partner strategy and operations across the partner ecosystem.
Strategic Initiatives: Structure and lead key strategic initiatives, establish and track KPIs, and develop best practices to support Lumen’s partner strategy.
Operational Planning: Drive annual and quarterly operational planning, prioritization, and alignment based on Lumen’s business strategy.
Thought Leadership: Provide strategic direction and develop innovative solutions to scale Lumen’s partner business.
Business Operations:
Operational Management: Oversee the operational aspects of partner programs, partnerships, and processes.
Rules of Engagement: Develop guidelines for working with partners and enable internal teams on those guidelines.
Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work with multiple stakeholders and cross-functional teams to drive initiatives.
Project Management: Manage multiple concurrent projects and drive initiatives in a cross-functional environment.
Communication Skills: Demonstrate excellent interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills.
Analytics & Insights:
Measuring Effectiveness: Partner with the Finance team to measure the effectiveness of partner investments and programs and identify areas for improvement.
Data-Driven Optimization: Leverage data and analytics to optimize partner operations and initiatives.
What We Look For in a Candidate
7+ years of partner / revenue / go-to-market operations experience in a leadership role. Prior experience in a fast-paced, high growth environment is highly preferred.
2+ years of people management experience is highly preferred.
Experience and understanding of partner strategies across different go-to-market motions.
Ability to analyze and prioritize business metrics & initiatives, understand trends and comfortable driving partner revenue discussions to drive results.
Demonstrated experience working and communicating exceptionally well with multiple stakeholders and cross functional teams, including C suite and Executive teams, marketing product, finance, legal, as well as our external strategic partners
Demonstrated proficiency in cross-functional collaboration and ability to influence and get things done across functional domains.
Ability to manage multiple concurrent projects and drive initiatives in a cross-functional environment. Ability to adjust on the fly to new demands with a sense of urgency.
Excellent interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills.
Bachelor’s degree and relevant industry experience; MBA preferred
Compensation
This information reflects the anticipated base salary range for this position based on current national data. Minimums and maximums may vary based on location. Individual pay is based on skills, experience and other relevant factors.

$129,639.00 - $172,852.00 in these states: AL AR AZ FL GA IA ID IN KS KY LA ME MO MS MT ND NE NM OH OK PA SC SD TN UT VT WI WV WY
$136,121.00 - $181,494.00 in these states: CO HI MI MN NC NH NV OR RI
$142,603.00 - $190,137.00 in these states: AK CA CT DC DE IL MA MD NJ NY TX VA WA
