Position Overview

This is an entry-level position, but over time we'll train you on the skills you'll need to grow into new roles or departments. In this role, you'll assist with daily plant operation and maintenance. If you've got the drive, we'll help you to reach your goals.

Wage: Starting at $19 /hr DOE w/ potential for overtime

Key Responsibilities
Operate equipment safely and efficiently within its designed parameters.
Clean working areas around plant.
Shovel excess materials from around conveyors and other areas generating frequent build up.
Operate skid steer.
Perform general clean-up and maintenance (i.e. oiling, greasing plant equipment) duties as assigned.
Assist other departments with maintenance, operations, and/or other duties as assigned to meet business needs.
Promptly communicate with supervisors on any flaws in material.
Take action to avoid potential hazards or obstructions.
Regular and timely attendance.
Participate in and promote an inclusive work environment.


Qualifications

To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.

Minium Qualifications
A strong desire to grow, and the willingness to learn and work a variety of job tasks and equipment.
Demonstrates the ability to work independently without direct supervision, and has a positive attitude.
Safety minded professional who demonstrates good performance, attendance and punctuality.
Demonstrates the ability to work overtime and weekends/holidays as needed.
Demonstrates the ability to conform to and maintain OSHA, MSHA, DOT and all other company or state rules and regulations.
Must pass pre-employment physical exam and pre-employment controlled substance testing.
Must have current US Authorization to work or ability to obtain without company assistance prior to start date.
