J-65816 Platform Engineering Lead
In this role you’ll support Neo, our proprietary platform that combines best-in-class online travel booking functionalities with industry-leading expense management technologies. As a platform engineering lead, you’ll lead a team to deploy, maintain and monitor the infrastructure supporting our customer-facing application.
We’re looking for someone at ease with cloud technologies, who is passionate about leadership and making a big impact with their work. Although this role will be hybrid (1-2 days in-office in Chicago), we would like for this candidate to join the core Neo team on-site in Paris for the first month.
What You’ll Do
Implement platform changes
Automate platform deployment and maintenance
Ensure continuous monitoring of the platform across various environment
Identify and fix reliability issues
Track and manage system stability and capacity
Proactively identify opportunities for improvement in process, design, and implementations
Maintain security and quality standards within the infrastructure
What We’re Looking For
Engineering or master's degree in computer science
Proven troubleshooting skills in complex systems
Demonstrated track record of executing task diligently and with the necessary rigor
Demonstrated experience in platform management
Experience successfully leading remote teams
Required Technical Skills
Proficient in full AWS suite (EC2, S3, ALB, Route53, Global Accelerator, ECS/Fargate, Lambda...) - equivalent to AWS Practitioner or DevOps certifications
Linux system management
Powershell scripting preferred
Windows system management preferred
United States - Illinois - Chicago
The US national annual base salary range for this position is from $60,000 to $120,000. The national range provided includes the base salary that GBT expects to pay for the role. Actual base salary will be based on factors including the scope and complexity of the role and the successful candidate’s relevant experience, skills, knowledge, and work location.
