Oracle Principal Pre-Sales Consultant: High Tech Software Industry in Helena, Montana
Job Description
We are seeking an upbeat individual to provide pre-sales support for our Cloud ERP/EPM/SCM Solutions for the High Tech Software Industry. The right person must be a highly motivated individual with the experience, proficiency, and interest to learn these offerings in-depth and position them with credibility to both existing customers and prospects in driven evaluations. The position involves a variety of pre-sales tasks, most importantly delivering compelling demonstrations that address the prospect’s requirements in a way that leaves the customer eager to move forward with Oracle.
Provide leadership on all phases of deal execution
Take a lead role on resourcing and coordinating account, solution or industry teams, where required
Participate and drive strategic account planning
Display expertise in designing solutions for specified needs, and for creating cross-product solutions where required
Contribute to the generation and maintenance of relevant value propositions
Educate customers and Partner Organizations in Oracle solutions and value propositions
Build and maintain long-standing relationships with the internal and external customers both during and after the bid process
Contribute to customer success and keeping customers referenceable
A broader set of knowledge will translate into more opportunity to contribute, which should make the job more interesting and rewarding. As such, while staying on top of new capabilities in Oracle Cloud ERP, you will also be expected to add related products to your portfolio.
Beyond deals, you will also work with Sales on account analysis and strategy to drive new demand for Oracle’s offerings.

Responsibilities
Build and maintain expert-level knowledge of Oracle Cloud ERP/EPM and SCM functionality and the related underlying architecture. After establishing this foundation of knowledge, expand your coverage into other related areas.
Business process knowledge of areas like Record to Report, Order to Revenue/Subscription, Plan to Deliver, and Customer Contract to Revenue
Keep up to date with the latest capabilities -- along with the solution’s future roadmap..
Bring together value drivers to quantify potential return on investment.
Answer RFIs and RFPs to represent Oracle Cloud solutions in the most favorable light possible, explaining the business benefits of key capabilities.
Identify gaps in the Oracle solution and formulate alternative approaches to addressing the related requirements.
Project Management (Planning, Scheduling, Communication, Follow up, Leading distributed teams)
High Tech Industry Knowledge
Oracle Product Knowledge with emphasis on ERP and XaaS
Executive Presence
Qualifications:
Leading contributor individually and as a team member, providing direction and mentoring to others. Work is non-routine and very complex, involving the application of advanced technical/business skills in the area of specialization.
3+ years SaaS Cloud solution provider experienced in a selling/marketing capacity (pre-sales preferred)
7+ year’s business experience with relevant application solutions (e.g., solutions such as Oracle Cloud for ERP, SCM)
Thorough knowledge of system and application design & knowledge of competitors.
Demonstrated project management and leadership skills – able to manage work across multiple opportunities at one time.
Demonstrated excellent verbal and written communication skills, needs analysis, positioning/messaging, business value and justification, compelling/closing techniques.
Ability to effectively persuade others through presentations, demonstrations, and written communication.
Travel as needed, approx. 25-50%
BS in Accounting/Finance, Engineering or similar degree or advanced degree desirable.

Range and benefit information provided in this posting are specific to the stated locations only
US: Hiring Range: from $38.85 to $85.67 per hour; from $80,800 to $178,200 per annum. May be eligible for equity. Eligible for commission with an estimated pay mix of 65/35 - 80/20.
Oracle maintains broad salary ranges for its roles in order to account for variations in knowledge, skills, experience, market conditions and locations, as well as reflect Oracle’s differing products, industries and lines of business.
Candidates are typically placed into the range based on the preceding factors as well as internal peer equity.

Paid time off: Flexible Vacation is provided to all eligible employees assigned to a salaried (non-overtime eligible) position. Accrued Vacation is provided to all other employees eligible for vacation benefits. For employees working at least 35 hours per week, the vacation accrual rate is 13 days annually for the first three years of employment and 18 days annually for subsequent years of employment. Vacation accrual is prorated for employees working between 20 and 34 hours per week. Employees working fewer than 20 hours per week are not eligible for vacation.
