Intel Product Development Program Management in Helena, Montana

Job Description

Intel's Product Development Department is in search of a strong project lead to join our growing discrete graphics team and deliver Intel's next generation supercompute projects to our customers . This position requires thorough knowledge of business practices and procedures to perform analytics and derive solutions to a wide variety of difficult technical challenges.

Our team is working on cutting edge exascale compute technology that requires extensive project management capabilities to scope, plan, drive, manage and track to our project execution roadmap. The project dynamics and challenges require someone independently motivated to tackle complex situations, identify solutions and drive sound decision making. The role provides an opportunity to engage pre-silicon in strategic planning and alignment of materials/resources/collaterals/partners to achieve key project milestones through product release qualification shipments to high volume manufacturability. Additionally will collaborate with design, marketing, fab, assembly, supply, manufacturing, new product planning, quality/reliability, factory and production teams to identify dependencies, verify deliverables, ensure accountability, remove roadblocks, close product requirement definition and develop schedules for Intel's extensive graphic's roadmap. Team members are expected to communicate project status, risks, impacts and mitigation opportunities clearly and transparently to teams, management, and senior executives.


Candidate must possess a Bachelor's degree preferably in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Project/Business Management, or a related field, OR a Master’s degree preferably in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Project/Business Management, or a related field/

Minimum Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree with 6+ years of program management experience or Master's degree with 4+ years of program management experience, or a PhD with 2+ years of program management experience.

  • Strong program management skills and experience managing complex program development and execution.

  • Broad project level scope and comprehension capability working with multiple partners for planning, execution, and tracking.

  • Ability to translate complex business questions into actionable plan and effectively communicate to others.

  • Strong analytical skills, great business sense and able to provide a coherent narrative to support the leadership recommendation/decision.

  • Strong detail orientation to formulate tactics, drive schedule, manage dependencies, and proactively predict/avoid issues.

  • Identify and remove roadblocks to enable teams to execute to plan and schedule.

  • Strong determination to guarantee quality, drive improvements and define processes to ensure correct product decisions with consideration for cost, quality, and schedule.

  • Shares knowledge, ideas and information openly, and effectively promotes new ideas and influences others.

  • Exceptional collaboration capability with key stakeholders to align and deliver project/program deliverables.

  • Self-starter and pro-active with ability to work independently through ambiguity and under pressure.

  • Excellent written/verbal communication and presentation skills.

  • Strategic thinking to be predictive, analytical, and problem solving along with defining processes.

  • Ability to up level information in thorough yet concise manner as well as dive into the technical details.

  • Silicon manufacturing flow knowledge

Manufacturing and Product Engineering (MPE) is responsible for test development across product segments, supporting 95% of Intel's revenue. We deliver comprehensive pre-production test suites and component/physical debug capabilities to enable high quality, high volume manufacturing.

Working Model

This role will be eligible for our hybrid work model which allows employees to split their time between working on-site at their assigned Intel site and off-site. In certain circumstances the work model may change to accommodate business needs.
