Job Description
The Product Lead of Data Platform & Analytics will own the leadership of our data platforms and build out data services and products to meet customer and business needs across all verticals and segments through a common, single data layer. This leader will be responsible for setting a vision around how our customers and internal stakeholders can make better business decisions through insights and analytics. This leader will be responsible for end-to-end lifecycle from market analysis, opportunity assessment, design, prioritization, planning, product development and delivery of solutions both internally and with external partners to the market. This leader will collaborate with the technology to define software development goals and create a plan to meet them by delivering the best-in-class product experiences to deepen customer engagement.
PRODUCT P&L
• Drive product profitability and performance, managing short- and long-term outcomes of the portfolio including connection to roadmap, objectives, key results, and strategic investments.
PRODUCT STRATEGY, VISION, AND PLANNING
• Pull from market and competitive insights, customer needs, and internal business priorities to help shape the product vision (target customer segments, markets, channels, go to market approach, and value propositions).
PERFORMANCE MEASUREMENT AND OPTIMIZATION
• Develop, analyze, monitor, and report on performance metrics from internal and external sources to identify key trends and opportunities for continuous improvement.
• Utilize performance metrics to drive towards progress on identified strategies and initiatives.
• Influence and drive alignment across functions, channels, and lines of business to set product strategy, manage performance, and optimize execution.
PRODUCT DEVELOPMENT
• Drive product development and actively engage cross-functional stakeholders to enable faster speed to market and maximize return on spend in decision making for the product roadmap (e.g., issue resolution, MVP definition, ongoing prioritization).
• Prioritize resources across developing new products and reimagining existing products.
CHANNEL ALIGNMENT AND MANAGEMENT
• Gather competitive, customer, market, and internal business priorities to assess the performance of our product portfolios in each segment and develop solutions that drive growth and performance across digital and human channels.
• Collaborate across channels to define and deliver product performance goals (e.g., revenue, customer experience, etc.).
CUSTOMER EXPERIENCE RESEARCH, INSIGHT AND EXECUTION
• Identify initial and ongoing product-market fit by communicating and incorporating customer/user needs, competitive landscape, business objectives, the bank's strategic advantage and economic environment to enhance new or existing products.
• Demonstrate deep understanding of target customer through internal/external research (e.g., creation of personas, story maps, product chartering/mapping experience).
• Manage risks within the experience and portfolio through clear understanding of the current and future competitive, regulatory, financial and reputation risks
Basic Qualifications
-Bachelor's degree, or equivalent work experience
-Ten or more years of related work experience
-Experience managing and building high-performance teams in cross functional areas with direct / indirect reports
-Deep knowledge of industry and competitor products / services
-Strong influencing, coaching, mentoring skills
-Proven success in building trust-based relationships with peers and key stakeholders
-Understanding of the technical architecture of complex data products
-Comfortable working with Data technologies (such as Spark, Kafka, Druid) in building and designing products that utilize both real time as well as batch data streams at scale
Preferred Qualifications
-Master’s Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems or related field
-Experience and strong knowledge in SQL, Data pipelines, data warehousing concepts, big data technologies, and analytics platforms.
-Solid understanding of cloud infrastructure (AWS, Azure, GCP)
-Comprehensive knowledge of design metrics, analytics tools, benchmarking activities and related reporting to identify best practices-Well-versed in gathering insights and identifying trends from data (customer interaction, qualitative and quantitative analysis, etc)

The salary range reflects figures based on the primary location, which is listed first. The actual range for the role may differ based on the location of the role. In addition to salary, US Bank offers a comprehensive benefits package, including incentive and recognition programs, equity stock purchase 401k contribution and pension (all benefits are subject to eligibility requirements). Pay Range: $154,955.00 - $182,300.00 - $200,530.00
