Vontier Product Manager in Helena, Montana
Driverse (A DRB Company) is a growing and vibrant software company in need of a Product Manager. This person will help drive product strategy and vision aimed at delivering a new, cloud-based, point-of-sale software solution in the quick lube and automotive repair industry. You will also work cross-functionally to complete product roadmaps and discover new opportunities.
WHAT YOU WILL DO
Assume responsibility for products throughout their lifecycle, from ideation to launch
Contribute to building and carrying out the product’s long-term vision and strategy
Champion the team, partners, and external stakeholders to ensure alignment around overall strategy and direction of the product
Build go-to-market strategies with the leadership team for new features and changes
Be an expert with respect to the competition
Align the team around a cohesive product roadmap
Discover what users need by conducting user research and unveiling critical insights
Decide what features to build next
Construct and prioritize production processes to ensure that the development team is clear on what to work on next
Deliver features that function and delight customers
Turn customer pains and problems into actionable user stories
Deliver the necessary product specifications, requirements, and user stories needed to successfully deliver on the product roadmap
Identify key metrics to successfully analyze trends and behaviors to best identify our users’ needs
Work with external third parties to assess partnerships and licensing opportunities
Run beta and pilot programs with early-stage products and samples
Attend all agile and scrum meetings to ensure that development work is aligned with the roadmap
Communicate the voice of the customer to the development team
Provide feedback on the validated roadmap to the executive team
WHO YOU ARE
Bachelor’s degree
3+ years of product management and/or product ownership experience
Certified Scrum Product Owner or similar experience
Knowledge of the tools and processes development teams use to develop, build, and track features
Knowledge of automotive repair market and quick lube industry to help validate hypotheses is a plus
A visionary product skill set
Excellent problem-solving skills, including the ability to analyze situations, identify existing or potential problems, and recommend//implement response strategies.
Strong oral communication skills and ability to present to a variety of target audiences.
Ability to work well in a team, rapidly gain an understanding of applications, manage multiple projects with changing priorities and initiate projects with minimal guidance.
Keen business sense, with the ability to find creative business-oriented solutions.
Proven success working in a fast-paced environment.
Cross-functional experience working across a variety of functions at a variety of levels.
Demonstrated ability to work efficiently, meet demanding deadlines, prioritize workflow, and adjust.
