About Q Branch Scale Team

Q Branch Scale is a centralized team that sits at the heart of the Solution Engineering organization to provide productivity and efficiency at scale and best practice approaches in support of the Solution Engineers. Its focus is to ensure that the Solutions organization is equipped for the next stage of growth within Salesforce. We leverage a design-led process and technology to bring ideas to life that deliver huge impact whilst being nimble and flexible, driving efficiency and effectiveness across the entire Global Solution Engineering organization.

About the Role

We are looking for an energetic, ambitious Program Manager to lead and execute projects successfully. Our work is design-led and product-focused; this role requires an understanding of the workflow between design, technology and project management teams, and the ability to facilitate collaboration across many disciplines. You will be tasked with defining and managing programs to support the Global Solutions organization’s strategic direction, including managing project-based initiatives and evolving programs to ensure success via increased adoption, through marketing and evangelization. You must be confident and comfortable in developing a network across stakeholders and users to create opportunities for feedback, adoption, and sustained relevance of our tools in our fast-paced, ever-evolving work environment.

To be successful as a Program Manager you must be able to multitask and think strategically across work streams. A good Program Manager has excellent time management and planning skills.

In Addition You Will

  • Scope and plan your projects by defining goals and success metrics, and developing a work plan to include milestones and dependencies. Responsible for creating resources, assessing risks, and clearly articulating responsibilities, activities, and deadlines to project teams.

  • Coordinate project activities and milestones, across stakeholders including within core team, extended team, and business partners, through delivery.

  • Organize your programs and activities to deliver on an agreed set of outcomes.

  • Evangelize and drive adoption of your specific programs, and be able to evaluate and report on success metrics.

  • Motivated with a proven track record of rolling your sleeves up and getting the work done.

  • Leverage a metrics-driven mindset and user-first focus across all projects and activities

  • Initiate and build relationships with product users to create opportunities for feedback to identify gaps and opportunities.

  • Produce accurate and timely reporting of program status throughout its life cycle.

  • Work collaboratively in a dynamic, cross-functional team to swarm on solutions.

  • Confidently create, maintain and present enablement materials for global audiences.

  • Meet with Solutions stakeholders to make communication easy and transparent regarding project issues and decisions on services.

  • Work collaboratively to develop new or optimize existing programs that support the team’s strategy

  • Work with team leadership to create and manage long-term goals for your programs.

  • Participate with Solutions Management and cross-functional teams to generate new ideas and strategies.

  • Aptitude to quickly understand technical concepts and workflows, and present with clarity to various user audiences.

  • Understand and remain flexible and calm in the context of rapid development cycles and within shifting priorities.

Program Manager Requirements

  • 5-7+ years of relevant professional experience in product marketing, business management, program management, project management or a related field.

  • Ability to lead, manage and execute multiple projects in a fast-paced, deadline-oriented environment.

  • Demonstrated ability and desire to collaborate across geographically distributed teams.

  • Strong verbal, written, presentation, and interpersonal communication skills.

  • Ability to establish credibility and rapport with leadership, technical, and non-technical team members.

  • Solid understanding and practice of project management for design and technical projects.

  • Proven ability to improve processes while managing active projects.

  • Superior problem solving and troubleshooting skills and a history of hands-on, detail orientation.

  • Possess a growth mindset where learning is an every moment thing, failure is an opportunity to grow and keeping a positive attitude is a well-honed discipline.
