The Montana Department of Revenue administers almost 40 state taxes, property appraisals, liquor laws, and unclaimed property for the state of Montana. Duties include coordinating program activities, managing program information, responding to inquiries and support issues, collecting and reporting program data. The incumbent will manage relationships with various internal and external stakeholders, assist business analysts and unit managers with program administration. The position resides in the Information Management Bureau which comprised of three units, Customer & Payment Management, Digitization, and Information Governance. The position reports to the Unit Manager. This position does not supervise other staff. The Information Management Bureau is responsible for: processing paper and electronic payments, returns and correspondence; managing customer information; managing software vendor relations. In this role as a Program Officer for the Customer & Payment Management team, you will perform a variety of task.
