Job Description
We are looking for an Associate Project Administrator to assist our clients Project Managers on medium to large scale projects by coordinating activities and resources. This position will be full-time and remote .
This opportunity exists within our CAI’s Neurodiverse Solutions business unit, all candidates in consideration of positions within CAI’s Neurodiverse Solutions must be able to self-disclose that they identify as neurodivergent.
Due to our end client, candidates must be able to work on CAI's W2 without a need for sponsorship now or in the future.
What You’ll Do
Uncovers opportunities for forecast adjustments with weekly resource staffing analysis and communicate these to the Project Manager
Provide proactive reporting into project performance including financial health, progress on planned work completion, and call to action on potential risks & issues
Learn, and utilize the Delivery Excellence methodology and internal processes with the goal of increasing in knowledge and expertise to develop greater proficiency in project management acumen and expertise
Produce meeting agenda’s, record clear and concise meeting minutes to be distributed to attendees and stakeholders in a timely manner
Learn and display proficiency in the core competencies of project management: Scope Management, Schedule Management, Financial Management, Risk Management, Track/Report Projects, Meeting Essentials, Communication Skills, and Agile Basics
Prepare deliverables to meet deadlines, providing status updates according to accepted schedule and escalating impediments appropriately once identified
What You'll Need
Required:
Bachelor's degree in computer science or a related field
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite of products (Excel, PowerPoint, and Word)
Strong active listening, critical thinking, and decision-making skills
Effective organizational and time management skills
Willingness to develop effective verbal and written business communication
Preferred:
Prior experience in planning and supporting the execution of projects from conception to launch
Prior project management application experience (MS Project, Jira, Etc.)
Prior project leadership experience
Physical Demands
Ability to safely and successfully perform the essential job functions consistent with the ADA and other federal, state, and local standards
Ability to conduct repetitive tasks on a computer, utilizing a mouse, keyboard, and monitor
Must be able to communicate with customers/team members over the phone and in person
Sedentary work that involves sitting or remaining stationary most of the time with occasional need to move around the office to attend meetings, etc
