The role.
We are seeking a skilled and expert engineer to join our team as a Project Execution Engineer, specializing in power system engineering, drive system integration and integration of ancillary elements such as heat exchangers and fabricated electrical houses. The Project Execution Engineer is responsible for leading and handling all technical aspects of multiple electrical engineering projects of multifaceted complexity to ensure flawless integration of systems within project requirements for schedule and budget and in compliance with contractual specifications.
Responsibilities :
Serve as the technical lead for system and solution projects, focusing on system engineering and typically including integration of equipment such as variable frequency drives, switchgear, motors, transformers, control panels, protective devices, electrical houses and/or heat exchangers.
Collaborate with multi-functional teams, including engineers, project managers, and partners, to define project goals, scope, work, and schedules.
Conduct system engineering analyses to ensure design meets specifications and is optimized for the project within budget.
Coordinate the integration of equipment to assure accurate function, control, and performance of the overall system.
Maintain engineering project plans and supervise progress to ensure tasks and engineering work are completed by established due dates.
Monitor project risks and issues, implement mitigation strategies, and proactively communicate project engineering updates to the project manager and customer.
Collaborate with purchasing, project manager, contractors, and suppliers to procure equipment and components which follow project specifications and schedule.
Conduct inspections and quality control checks to verify compliance with industry standards, regulations, and project requirements.
Assist with preparations for and performance of customer-witnessed testing.
Produce and collect project documentation, including technical specifications, drawings, technical reports, test plans and test reports. Verify accuracy and completeness of all project user documentation.
Champion a culture of collaboration, innovation, and continuous improvement within the project team.
Your profile.
Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering or a related field. Advanced degree preferred.
Proven experience (5+ years) in electrical engineering, with a focus on drive/motor systems, power systems, electrical house applications, and equipment integration.
Proven understanding of electrical engineering principles, control systems and power distribution.
Strong understanding of drive and motor systems, including their integration and control.
The pay range for this position is $71,300 - $122,300. The actual wage offered may be lower or higher depending on budget and candidate experience, knowledge, skills, qualifications, and premium geographic location.
