Ford Motor Company Public Charging Network Manager in Helena, Montana
Be at the forefront of growing North America’s largest public charging network on the Ford Model e team. As the Public Charging Network Manager, this person will work with cross-functional teams to create and implement go-to-Market (‘GTM’) plans that will open the roads for Ford all-electric (‘BEV’) customers to use a constantly expanding network.
In this position:
Drive the creation, implementation, and execution of Ford’s transition from CCS to NACS and the Ford and Lincoln Dealer Charging Network with cross-functional teams to deliver a great Ford charging customer experience.
This includes working with Ford’s eCommerce, Manufacturing, Legal, Communications, Engineering, Call Center Support, and other internal teams, as well as with external stakeholders such as charging network providers, a third-party logistics provider, third-party suppliers, and dealers to create an aligned end-to-end go-to-Market plan.
Ensure all key stakeholders are apprised and aligned with new network go-to-market plans and execution.
Work through any open items that arise, seeking the simplest and most effective solutions for Ford and the customer.
Creation of aligned end-to-end process flow diagrams that detail complex workflows and processes
Partner with customer experience teams to define and refine customer journeys and supporting processes to drive recommendations and improve the public charging experience.
Support other business teams with changes to processes, workstreams, training materials, warranties, FAQs, and more when necessary, based on project scope and complexity.
During the GTM execution phase, perform competitive and market analysis to continuously educate the team on what customers are experiencing and identify opportunities for improvement.
Operate as the subject matter expert (‘SME’) for Ford’s NACS transition (near term) and dealer charging (long term) and partners to enable smooth, seamless additions to improve the customer experience.
Similarly, collaborate with future vehicle programs to craft GTM strategies, iterating and adjusting prioritization when needed.
Responsible for updates to the broader organization and l eadership regarding the GTM approach and execution , adjusting the plan as necessary.
What you'll do:
Responsible for the creation and execution of Ford’s transition to the NACS GTM plan to deliver a great Ford charging customer experience.
Long-term responsibility for the update and execution of the dealer charging network to deliver a great Ford customer charging experience and a great dealer experience.
This person owns the GTM strategy and tactical execution that deliver a great Ford charging customer experience throughout the entire EV customer journey. This includes partnering across the Ford ecosystem in the US and Canada, including, but not limited to:
Manufacturing Teams
Engineering Teams
Legal
Purchasing
Finance and Accounting Teams
Website and Content teams
Support teams like Call Center leaders and warranty handling Teams
Brand and Marketing Communications teams
Retail and Fleet Teams
Customer Experience Team
Third parties, such as Charging Network Providers, logistics providers, third-party Party Suppliers and more
Develops user journeys with the customer experience, design, and technology teams.
Defines and documents end-to-end process flow diagrams for complex workstreams such as logistics from suppliers to various end users, including driving alignment with stakeholders and customers through ideation and testing best practices.
Accountable for managing open items or risks to maintain effective execution that is both customer-centric and delivers value and continuity for the business.
Manage vendor and partner relationships, both externally and internally, with various stakeholders.

Minimum Qualifications:
Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering, Business or other relevant discipline
3+ years experience in Product Development, Project Management, Program Management or similar
Desired Experience:
Experience in process flow mapping and customer journey mapping
Experience with status tracking tools (e.g. Smartsheet or others)
Experience leading a Go-To-Market strategy, complex projects or cross-functional programs
Familiarity with battery-electric vehicles and charging is a plus
