This position will serve as aQuality Control Specialistfor the Housing Division and is responsible for developing and implementing quality assurances and internal controls for the Department’s Programs. This includes researching and advising management and staff of changing regulatory requirements and alternatives for program operation. The incumbent performs internal compliance assessments, provides quality assurances and internal controls, coordinates external audit responses and monitors and reviews internal work processes of individual staff. The position also provides training, technical assistance, and data maintenance in support of ongoing program operations and activities.

Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Accounting or closely a related field plus two (2) years of compliance and/or quality control experience.
Other combinations of related education and experience may be considered on a case-by-case basis.
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
principles and practices of loan servicing, lending, administering HUD tenant-based and project-based programs, business process analysis, quality assurance, and internal control procedures; banking, finance, and professional research and reporting methods.
