St. Peters Health Quality Improvement RN - 1.0 FTE in Helena, Montana

This full-time on-site position requires nursing education and background and supports the functions of the Quality Department, which include Quality Assurance and Reporting, Compliance, Risk Management, Patient Safety, Infection Prevention, and Patient Experience. The primary role of the QI-RN is identifying necessary clinical process improvement projects through monitoring event trends, noting survey fallouts or through outcomes review and RCA participation, assisting with project audits and data collection, sharing data and progress with key stakeholder groups, and educating nurses and other staff members as needed to help affect positive change where changes are necessary to improve care or experience. Under the direction of the Director of Quality, the QI-RN will manage data-driven improvement projects intended to elevate quality and safety performance across the organization. The QI-RN will participate in program coordination and project management in collaboration with other members of the Quality Department, clinical and professional staff from other departments, and with leaders across all areas of the hospital as the identified projects may demand. Duties include meeting attendance, participation on committees including leading some committee content and/or developing agendas for meetings, recording of minutes if necessary to further the project progress, facilitating workgroups, developing stakeholder communication plans, and coordination of other quality department activities. As a Quality Team member, participation and assistance in all aspects of quality department functions can be expected.
