JOB SUMMARY
The purpose of this position is to work closely with the Client’s workplace team and lead a variety of complex analyses used in the development of deliverables focused on real estate strategies in support of the Client.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Provide support to the regional client Workplace Geo-Lead and client sub-regional Portfolio Manager with portfolio strategy requests. Lead the regional development of short-, medium- and long-term Real Estate strategies to improve the health of the client’s portfolio.
Update financial analyses and translate the financial output into recommendations. Owning the development of business cases and presenting the findings and recommendations to the client. Translate ambiguous requests into clear deliverables. Prepares and presents deliverables in oral, written, and visual formats relative to client strategy, industry benchmarks and best practices, and other topics as required.
Cultivates strong partnerships with client leadership and internal CBRE partners. Support the Portfolio Strategy Global team with regional activities and implementation of global initiatives and be the region SME on the client’s Real Estate Portfolio. Supports Portfolio Strategy analysis by compiling and validating regional portfolio data and business insights
Maintain and support adherence to key workplace processes (E2E) in the region, perform quality checks on key documentation (demand signal validation) and keep lease level strategy actions updated and accurate.
Be the main regional portfolio strategy POC for ongoing projects. Manages all external consultants and SMEs relating to strategy development and market analysis in the region. Validate lease level strategies for Long Range Planning and annual Capital Planning.

SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES
No formal supervisory responsibilities in this position. Provides informal assistance such as technical guidance, and/or training to coworkers. May lead project teams and/or plan and supervise assignments of lower-level employees.

EDUCATION and EXPERIENCE
Bachelor's degree (BA/BS) from four-year college or university. Masters degree or MBA preferred. 5+ years corporate real estate experience with emphasis on Strategic Planning, Occupancy Planning, and Transaction Management..
CERTIFICATES and/or LICENSES
Real estate license (Where required by state law)
Professional certification, professional designations (e.g. BCCR, CCIM, CPM, MAI) and/or graduate level training in commercial real estate is desirable.
COMMUNICATION SKILLS
Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Strong organizational and analytical skills. Strong interpersonal and organizational skills with ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously, set and achieve project deadlines and manage client expectations. Ability to effectively ask key clarifying questions and present information.
Ability to write reports for and / or present to client staff and senior management. Ability to effectively respond to sensitive issues, complex inquiries or complaints from clients, co-workers, supervisor, and / or management
FINANCIAL KNOWLEDGE
Requires in-depth knowledge of real estate financial terms and principles. Ability to calculate intermediate figures such as percentages, discounts, and commissions. Conducts advanced financial analysis.
Thorough understanding of real estate valuation and how real estate is reported from a corporate finance perspective on both cash and book basis. Demonstrated basic financial modeling experience.
REASONING ABILITY
Ability to solve advanced problems and deal with a variety of options in complex situations. Requires expert level analytical and quantitative skills with proven experience in developing strategic solutions for a growing matrix-based multi-industry sales environment. Draws upon the analysis of others and makes recommendations that have a direct impact on the company.
OTHER SKILLS and/or ABILITIES
Advanced skills in Microsoft Office, Google Suite Products and Salesforce.
Highly collaborative in a team environment.
Demonstrated leadership and management skills.
Proven record of providing excellent internal and external customer service
