Under direction of the Detention Center Sergeant this position provides clinical services to the incarcerated population and health care provider support at the Lewis and Clark County Detention Center.Position is open until filled and applications will be reviewed weekly. Current Registered Nurse licensure in Montana and CPR certification required. Detention center nursing experience preferred, but not necessary.Physical Demands Duties are generally performed in a clinic setting where hazards and discomforts are controlled and modifiable. This position requires the ability to bend at the waist, stand, kneel, reach over the head, talk, hear, and see. Must be able to move or lift documents and materials weighing up to 30 pounds. Position requires knowledge and use of typical office equipment including telephone and personal computer plus medical equipment and instruments. Position requires frequent contact with fellow employees, incarcerated population and citizens. Position may require travel to other sites for work assignments, meetings or training.Special Requirements Must pass a background check.Must be currently registered as an RN in the state of Montana.Work schedule is 12-hour day shifts and must be available to work weekends.
