Pearson Sales Development Representative - Credly in Helena, Montana

As a Credly SDR, you will be the first line of engagement with future customers and will have an impact on our success as the world leader in digital credentials. You will be responsible for developing opportunities with prospects in collaboration with our growing Account Based Marketing Team (ABM). You must be a self-starter, eager to take on new challenges and able to manage 25-50 opportunities at once. You will be expected to work at a fast pace, with concrete goals and measurable results.

The ideal candidate will have experience in ABM lead generation and long-term relationship building in technology product certification, human capital management software, higher education, training companies, and consulting firms. You'll work closely with the direct sales team to ensure a seamless transition of the opportunities you create.

This role is based in the United States and is remote.

What You'll Do Here

  • In collaboration with our ABM team, you will perform market research, identify companies that fit our ideal customer profiles, build target account lists and reach out to them through email, phone, and LinkedIn with a goal of setting a sales qualified opportunity.

  • Maintain active engagement with prospects through creative follow-up communications tools designed to increase prospective customer interest.

  • Focus on opportunities that generate $50,000 to $100,000 each annually, and execute strategies to expand existing customers to become multi-million dollar accounts.

  • Capture all relevant information in with a strong attention to detail.

  • Partner with our experienced industry account executives, to fill their pipeline, while also developing your sales skills.

  • Provide actionable insights to key business stakeholders, helping us continue to innovate our processes, products and services.

What You Know, Have Done, or Can Do (Must Haves)

  • A self-driven personality, you can work independently and have an intrinsic motivation to excel at anything you put your mind to.

  • Excellent written, interpersonal and verbal communication skills, with great attention to detail.

  • A natural curiosity to become an expert in this industry and to get to know your targeted accounts inside out.

  • An understanding of the importance of effectively managing time and prioritizing tasks.

  • A preference for working in start-ups over working for large corporates and enjoy the challenge of building something from the ground up.

  • A strong desire to work in technology sales to develop as a SaaS technology professional.

What You May Know and Have Done (Nice to Haves)

  •, SalesLoft, Hubspot, Uberflip, and Account Based Marketing experience is a plus.

As required by the Colorado Equal Pay Transparency Act, Pearson provides a reasonable range of minimum compensation for roles that may be hired in Colorado. Actual compensation is influenced by a wide array of factors including but not limited to skill set, level of experience, and specific office location. For the state of Colorado only , the range of starting pay for this role is $55,000. This position is eligible to participate in a sales incentive plan, and information on benefits offered is here.
