100% Remote
We are seeking a SCADA Engineer to design and implement SCADA systems for new power plants, battery, and solar projects ranging from 5-100 megawatts. This role involves leading implementation efforts with various vendors, project teams, and clients, as well as troubleshooting and optimizing systems.
We can facilitate w2 and corp-to-corp consultants. For our w2 consultants, we offer a great benefits package that includes Medical, Dental, and Vision benefits, 401k with company matching, and life insurance.
Rate: $60 - $70 / hr. w2
Responsibilities:
Design SCADA systems for renewable energy projects (solar, battery storage, and power plants).
Lead implementation efforts with vendors, project teams, and clients.
Troubleshoot and optimize SCADA systems to ensure seamless operation.
Create charts, diagrams, schematics, and other technical documentation.
Support network engineering and PLC programming tasks.
Experience Requirements:
Someone who is self-driven and motivated, wants to help out
Client facing and strong communication
Networking Engineering skills
PLC Programming skills
CAD Design, be able to create charts, diagrams, schematics, generate content (doesn't have to have AutoCAD)
Understanding of databases (SQL) but not an expert
Preferred to have Ignition but not required
Must be USC or Green Card holder
2+ years of experience - needs to be able to handle themselves and have capability
Certs are great, but not required
Skills, experience, and other compensable factors will be considered when determining pay rate. The pay range provided in this posting reflects a W2 hourly rate; other employment options may be available that may result in pay outside of the provided range.
