Indeed Senior Bid Manager in Helena, Montana

Day to Day

The RFx Team, part of the GTM (Go-To-Market) organization, responds to public sector RFPs on behalf of Indeed, builds strategic partnerships with other public sector providers in the recruitment space, monitors public sector procurement channels to maintain a healthy pipeline of opportunities, and acts as Indeed’s in-house experts on bid management best practices and public sector procurement.

We seek an experienced, detail-oriented Senior Bid and Capture Manager who would be dedicated to the US public sector.

Responsibilities

  • Work with lead generation teams to source public sector opportunities, including expiring contracts, cooperative contracts, and upcoming RFIs & RFPs

  • Qualify all incoming opportunities (“go/no-go”)

  • End-to-end project management of the entire RFP response effort from kickoff to submittal to client:

  • Creating and executing capture plans

  • Create win themes and key differentiators

  • Work with global, cross-functional teams across the company and outside consultants to generate bid content

  • Write and/or revise all bid content

  • Create proposal schedule and manage all bid deadlines

  • Ensure all proposals ideally position Indeed to win by compellingly relating our unique value proposition

  • Contribute to post-bid duties such as presentations, BAFO, and contract negotiations as needed

  • Create and maintain partnerships with other recruitment services providers to pursue joint bidding opportunities

  • Give guidance procurement strategies to grow Indeed’s US public sector business, working with Public Sector Strategy, Public Sector Sales, and other teams

  • Advise on continuous improvement of bid management processes

  • Maintain “boilerplate” proposal content repository

  • Report on team KPIs such as win rate, revenue win/loss, productivity metrics, etc.

Skills/Competencies

  • 5+ years’ experience in bid management (RFP responses)

  • 5+ years’ experience in the US public sector market

  • Excellent professional writing and editing skills

  • Experience leading large, cross-functional projects, ideally across many countries

  • Self-directed, organised, and able to manage and prioritise many projects simultaneously

  • Ability to interact with and get results from numerous collaborators with diverse personalities and communication styles

  • Excellent attention to detail

  • APMP certification, minimum Foundation level

  • Experience in Adobe InDesign desirable

Salary Range Transparency

US Remote 110,000 - 160,000 USD per year

The base salary range represents the low and high end of the Indeed salary range for this position in the given work location. Actual salaries will vary depending on factors including but not limited to location, experience, and performance. The range(s) listed is just one component of Indeed's total compensation package for employees.
