Carroll College Senior Director of Development in Helena, Montana

Description: Carroll College is seeking an experienced and dynamic Senior Director of Development to join our Advancement leadership team. This key position will strategically design and execute annual giving strategies to enhance philanthropic support for the College.Responsibilities include the identification, cultivation, solicitation and stewardship of high-level prospects that secure and increase significant philanthropic support and assure long-term financial support for Carroll. This position is also responsible for improving fundraising operations and managing a team of annual fund, leadership annual giving, events, and stewardship. The Senior Director of Development is responsible for working with campus partners, students and community members by making meaningful relationships that encourage engagement and participation in giving campaigns. This position works closely with Gift Officers and Advancement Services, in all efforts to promote, cultivate, fundraise, and steward Carroll constituents. This position will supervise the Director of Fundraising Events and Marketing, the Leadership Annual Giving Officer and the Development Coordinator and work collaboratively to develop a strategic, multi-channel communication, solicitation and event plan that will inform, engage and solicit alumni and other constituents of the college.Qualifications: The successful candidate will have a bachelor's degree in Business Management or related field plus 7 years of progressively responsible and related experience. Proven experience in a college environment, along with advancement, alumni relations, community engagement, affinity and reunion planning, management of volunteer boards and sponsored events, and other community programming preferred.
