Deloitte Senior Manager, Digital Portfolio Leader in Helena, Montana

The Team

The Talent Innovation and Solutions (TIS) Digital & Analytics (D&A) team implements and supports core, firmwide applications leveraged to support key People strategies and processes. As the People Organization identifies opportunities to transform the way we deliver services, technology solutions will need to be implemented or updated to provide an enhanced experience to our professionals and to drive operational efficiency and more seamless service delivery of services and insights.

We are seeking an experienced implementer of human resource (HR) technologies to partner with the Digital & Analytics leader and collaborate with other TIS and Deloitte Technology (DT) teams to oversee existing and drive new critical technology enhancements in the contingent worker, executive (Partner/Principal/Managing Director) solutions, and emerging solutions - such as our AI-driven skills enablement. This leader will have experience with product management and vendor management leading practices - especially of large-scale implementations. This Portfolio role also includes broader oversight of technology spend across the TIS and Talent organization in partnership with the D&A leader. Key responsibilities include partnering with vendors and Deloitte Technology to implement and enhance HR solutions through requirements facilitation, testing and quality assurance, training and communications support, and issue resolution.

Work You'll Do Digital & Analytics Portfolio Management:

  • Manage a portfolio of HR technology solutions and partner with other D&A leaders to manage a digital strategy aligned with the organizations' objectives.

  • This person will coordinate with the Talent PMO lead to align the D&A project work.

  • Develop and maintain a roadmap for the solutions within the portfolio.

  • Partner with client stakeholders to ensure that enhancements are prioritized, resourced, and executed successfully.

  • Manage and elevate risks to mitigate delivery risks - or risks to other downstream processes or technologies.

  • Review and evaluate the portfolio to optimize the use and drive value using our technology investments.

  • Lead new technical assessment work including documentation of high-level requirements, assessment of internal/external tools, creation of project plans, budgets, and resource models, and guiding through Talent Tech Stewardship.

    Technical Project Management:

  • Support technical project management of new tools and enhancements including project status, monitoring risks/issues, etc.

  • Oversee team members developing and delivering user acceptance testing, maintaining system user guides, distributing end user communications, and managing product backlogs.

    Budget and Vendor Management:

  • Partner with the D&A leader and other TIS leaders to manage and the budget planning, forecasting, and reconciliation activities with project spend.

  • Facilitate vendor relationships, as needed, including coordinating with the vendor management and procurement teams for contract negotiations, performance monitoring, and issue resolution.

    Stakeholder Management:

  • Coordinate and deliver trainings, communications, and other support - as needed - to support the adoption and optimal use of HR technologies. When applicable, this leader will coordinate with the Organizational Change Management (OCM) teams to support stakeholders and end-users.

  • Communicate project status, updates, and changes to stakeholders to ensure alignment, transparency, and issue resolution.

  • Proactively connect with stakeholders to stay current with their needs and manage feedback to improve the platform(s).

    Team Leadership:

  • Champion the team by creating a culture of inclusivity and co-creation.

  • Provide constructive feedback to foster collaboration and an innovative work environment.

  • Allocate tasks and resources, as needed, to support individual career goals while delivering against project deadlines.

  • Identify opportunities for the team to growth and development.

  • Provide quality assurance and reviews of work products.

    Qualifications Required:

  • Bachelor's Degree.

  • Minimum 10 years of related experience in system implementation, product management, professional services, and/or IT project management experience.

  • Minimum 5 years of experience at a professional services firm.

  • Ability to travel 20%, on average, based on the work you do and the clients and industries/sectors you serve

  • Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without the need for employer sponsorship, now or at any time in the future

The wage range for this role takes into account the wide range of factors that are considered in making compensation decisions including but not limited to skill sets; experience and training; licensure and certifications; and other business and organizational needs. The disclosed range estimate has not been adjusted for the applicable geographic differential associated with the location at which the position may be filled. At Deloitte, it is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top of the range for their role and compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case. A reasonable estimate of the current range is $113,100-$208,300.

You may also be eligible to participate in a discretionary annual incentive program, subject to the rules governing the program, whereby an award, if any, depends on various factors, including, without limitation, individual and organizational performance.
