Senior Manager, Value Proposition & Lead Identification
Global Merchant and Network Services (GMNS) is the merchant network of American Express that acquires and maintains relationships with millions of merchants around the world who welcome American Express-branded Cards. The Merchant Acquisition and Supplier Enablement (MASE) team within GMNS is a nationwide organization comprised of professionals dedicated to signing and enabling U.S. merchants for AXP Card acceptance. At the enterprise level, we’ve been investing in strategies to accelerate growth and drive deeper network relationships. One of these key strategic initiatives is the integration and scale of our suite of B2B payment solutions; a robust and efficient supplier enablement process is necessary to realizing this growth and serving our customers.
The Senior Manager, Value Proposition & Lead Identification is a highly strategic individual contributor within the newly formed Supplier Enablement Center of Excellence. This individual is responsible for synthesizing our Global Commercial Services (GCS) clients AP Files to identify opportunities to drive profitable growth and deliver incremental value to buyers and suppliers through the AXP integrated network.
Responsibilities:
Develop differentiated buyer/supplier value propositions using data driven insights and knowledge of the end-to-end payments value chain
Build campaign phase prioritization to accelerate the onboarding of best fit suppliers
Define end to end supplier enablement campaigns within alignment of AXP established methodology
Support quality lead identification through G&S lifecycle
Demonstrate thought leadership by consistently prioritizing profitable value opportunities
Partner with cross-functional teams to ensure campaign strategies are efficient, innovative, profitable, and passionate about differentiated value
Qualifications:
G&S Business Development, Client Management or GMNS experience with an emphasis on building/strengthening Buyer / Supplier relationships
Shown success building cross-functional partnerships in expert environments, with the ability draw key conclusions and make recommendations that impact the business.
Consultative approach and experience in developing and delivering senior level communications, demonstrating data and insights to help drive behavior change.
Consistent track record to apply external outlook of the competitive landscape and benchmarking to provide differentiated value to both buyers and suppliers.
Engage, influence, and encourage partners and collaborators to drive business change to improve performance.
Sharp business judgment to identify and develop solutions for key issues and opportunities.
Confirmed experience developing growth strategies demonstrating insights using data from multiple sources
Innovation approach and recognized thought leadership to drive what’s next and long-term vision
BS/BA Preferred

Qualifications
Salary Range: $90,000.00 to $165,000.00 annually bonus benefits
