Our Team:

The Sanofi Senior National Account Manager for CVS and Rite Aid, is the face of Sanofi to our customer. Employing a ‘General Manager Mindset’, the Senior Manager is accountable for elevating mutual strategies and delivering growth for assigned categories and/or brands at CVS Health and Rite Aid. This role works closely with the entire Sanofi Customer Team to deliver long-term and short-term goals with one of our largest retailer partners. The ideal candidate must thrive in a team environment. They will be responsible for maintaining high-level customer relationships and be able to communicate and implement Sanofi CHC’s initiatives.

The Senior Manager will have high interactions with CVS Health and Rite Aid Buyers involving strategic decisions on new items, trade management, promotional planning, and merchandising. Understanding the role of the competitive environment, maintaining awareness of competitive conditions, and reporting them promptly to management are also required.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Meets or exceeds assigned financial targets and business objectives.

  • Serves as the General Manager within assigned business by leading and organizing a multi-functional team, working closely with Marketing, Finance/RGM, Supply, Agency Partners and others.

  • Develops short- and long-term omnichannel strategies and plans that are aligned to CVS Health and Rite Aid

  • Builds, optimizes, and executes plans for distribution, pricing, promotion and merchandising that outperform the category

  • Manages trade funds and expenses to meet or exceed financial targets, within budget and policy guidelines

  • Forecasts sales, trade spending, and expenses

  • Proactively identifies risks and opportunities with gap-closing solutions

  • Develops and maintains key customer relationships for assigned business

  • Serve as an advocate for CVS Health and Rite Aid internally, and for the Sanofi with customer externally

  • Communicates information and customer needs across the organization.

  • Responsible for validating deductions and repays, and resolving significant aged deductions

  • Provide competitive intelligence and retail store conditions

  • Participates in trade shows and industry associations as appropriate

  • Participates in short- and long-term innovation sessions as appropriate

  • Prepares and submits any special reports, analysis, or presentations, as may be requested

  • Perform other duties as assigned

About You:

Experience

  • Located in Pennsylvania; New Jersey; Massachusetts; Connecticut; Rhode Island

  • 3+ years’ experience with CVS Health, Rite Aid or a top 5 national CPG retailer at headquarter level

  • 5+ years of proven delivery in CPG, preferably within OTC/, both top and bottom-line results required. Excellent business acumen; proficient category, segment and RX to OTC switching knowledge

  • Experience in working on multi-disciplinary teams and managing significant volume of projects

  • 3+ years’ experience utilizing Nielsen or IRI syndicated data with the ability to analyze and evaluate several sources of data to develop actional insights

  • CVS Extracare and CMG experience is highly preferred

  • Have a valid driver’s license and willingness to travel on the job.

  • Extremely organized, dependable and self-motivated with the ability to leverage planning tools in a fast-paced environment

  • Utilizes effective, professional communications to cultivate strong working relationships with both internal and external colleagues; displays flexibility in your approach to people and situation.

Education

  • B.A. / B.S. degree required; MBA preferred.
