Manage the development and implementation process of a specific company product.
Manage the development and implementation process of a specific company product involving departmental or cross-functional teams focused on the delivery of new or existing products. Plan and direct schedules and monitor budget/spending. Monitor the project from initiation through delivery. Organize the interdepartmental activities ensuring completion of the project/product on schedule and within budget constraints. Assign and monitor work of systems analysis and program staff, providing technical support and direction.
Duties and tasks are varied and complex, needing independent judgment. Fully competent in own area of expertise. May have project lead role and or supervise lower level personnel. BS degree or equivalent experience relevant to functional area. 5 years of project management, product design or related experience preferred.

The Machine Learning Research Group (MLRG) in Oracle Labs is working to develop, scale and deploy Machine Learning throughout all of Oracle's Products and Services.
You will be part of a team within Oracle Labs whose role is to acquire and manage the data for research. The Oracle Secure Research Data Repository (OSRDR) is a company-wide resource available to research and development teams; the OSRDR provides the means to access and operate on sensitive data. This team manages the process to acquire and curate the data used for high-value research.
As an OSRDR Program Manager, you will be responsible to manage the governance process to inbound and maintain the data that comes into the data repository. You will interact with functional, technical, security, and legal people in many parts of Oracle to take in requests and resolve any issues that arise in the approval process. You will be a problem solver and expediter, helping researchers and developers get access to data while maintaining compliance to Oracle policies and procedures.
Specific duties include:
Drive the governance process for inbounding and using data in the OSRDR
Track and report on projects moving though the governance process
Liaison with OSRDR users; assist in creating project requests
Liaison with various Oracle teams, including function, technical, legal, security, and IT in accordance with OSRDR governance
Create and maintain collateral material regarding OSRDR procedures and best practices
Oversee routine audits of OSRDR operations, including GDPR compliance
Manage requests through Oracle’s Corporate Security Solution Assurance Process (CSSAP) related to OSRDR operations
Document the process and work continuously to improve it
Identify areas for automating workflow and reporting
5 years experience in project management skills; being pro-active and detail-oriented, able to move a project through the approval process and resolve issues as they arise.
5 years of experience bringing clarity to processes and working on compliance with internal policies.
Good communication skills in both written and verbal formats. Be professional and diplomatic when dealing with the various stakeholders.
Experience in the Legal and/or Compliance fields is preferred.
A technical background would be helpful.
