What Customer Service Operations contributes to Cardinal Health

Customer Service is responsible for establishing, maintaining, and enhancing customer business through contract administration, customer orders, and problem resolution.

Responsible for providing outsourced services to customers relating to medical billing, medical reimbursement, and/or other services by acting as a liaison in problem-solving, research and problem/dispute resolution.

Shift: Monday-Friday 8:30am-5:00pm EST

Remote Details: You will work from home, full-time.

As a work from home employee, the expectation is that you have your camera on when participating in your onboarding/training activities. Please note that work from home is not a substitute for childcare or eldercare, arrangements must be made ahead of your start date. You will be required to have a dedicated, quiet, private, distraction free environment with access to high-speed internet.

Responsibilities

  • Inbound and outbound call queue to assist in placing orders, obtain missing information to process, inform nurse of a change or delay in the order

  • Demonstrate excellent communication skills in a professional and timely manner

  • Must be able to multitask in a faced paced environment

  • Team-oriented mindset and drive to show a passion for healthcare

Qualifications

  • High School Diploma, GED or technical certification in related field or equivalent experience preferred

  • 2-4 years of Customer Service inbound /outbound phone call center experience preferred

  • Experience with medical insurance/billing knowledge preferred

  • Prior computer experience using Microsoft Office systems strongly preferred

  • Applies advanced skills to resolve complex problems independently and using proper lines of communication that is provided in Microsoft Teams with your pod and the team

  • Ability to work from an at home setting, following SOP’s/ team resources and excellent communication skills

  • May modify process to resolve situations

  • Critical thinking skills to resolve situations, think outside the box and bring forward feedback and ideas

  • Have a positive attitude and ability to work in a fast-paced environmentin a large team setting

  • Abide by the Quality Assurance Goals that are in place

Anticipated salary range: $17.60/hr. - $25.60/hr.
