The primary purpose of this position is to deliver solutions to our healthcare customers in the Data & Analytics area. This position will oversee and provide services solving unique healthcare related analytics use cases including technical oversight, analytics capability, and data governance capabilities.
Primary Duties & Responsibilities:
Provides technical and business team leadership and guidance to healthcare related Data & Analytics projects by carrying out the following responsibilities:
Assigns analysis, design, and development tasks to team members
Oversee all preparation work and execution necessary of technical infrastructure identified for EDW, Data Lakes, Data Integration, Visualization, Advanced Analytics, and Data Governance capabilities.
Define and manage recommended reference architectures and technology platform providers
Develops technical and conceptual specifications in support of the overall application design
Define and manage requisite processes, policies, and organizational factors
Working with key customer IT and business stakeholders, establish project plans, timelines, milestones, and workforce plans needed to implement recommended tools and technology
Oversee all technical and operational steps to implement and maintain technical infrastructure
Validation of business use cases, dependencies, feasibility, and priorities
Provide leadership and oversight of Data & Analytics resources
Create and oversee all assigned Statement of Work (SOW) prior to services delivery
Communicates status of engagement to customer and Sirius’ Services management
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Management Information Systems, or a related field
At least ten (10) years’ Data & Analytics experience
At least five (5) years’ Healthcare related experience (may be concurrent with Data & Analytics experience)
Other Position Requirements:
Demonstrated understanding of Business Intelligence, Data Warehousing, and Analytics
Demonstrated SDLC knowledge
Demonstrated ability to maintain overall delivery plans, design documents, implementation strategy plans
Demonstrated experience with EMR application such as Epic or Cerner
Demonstrated presentation and communication skills
Full software lifecycle development experience
Experience in a consulting environment
Master’s degree in Computer Science, Business, Information Systems, Informatics, Information Management, or a related field

The position exists to provide technical consulting solutions to customers and as such requires the ability to travel to and from customer sites and interact with customers on an ongoing and regular basis.
