We identify various forms of fraud, abuse, or otherwise policy violations in jobs, communications, or otherwise user actions and behaviors, develop tools, systems, and processes to proactively detect and mitigate those risks from the marketplace.

As a Senior Technical Product Manager in Trust and Safety Product, you play a critical role in building a flourishing, engaging, and welcoming marketplace on Indeed. You will own the discovery of emerging or anticipated abuse vectors, and will partner with T&S Operations, Data Science, and Engineering teams in understanding the user experiences, designing solutions, developing new tools and systems, and rolling them out to realize this vision.

Who you are

  • Core product management: Deep dive user behavior data, both qualitative as well as quantitative, to identify and distill user problems into product requirements, milestones and priorities.

  • Product Development: Partner with engineering, data science, and operations teams to ideate on solutions, define requirements, track progress, and ensure timely pipeline improvements. Head the end-to-end product development process, from planning what's needed to working with development teams to deliver high-quality features and updates on time and within budget.

  • Cross Functional Partnership: Partner closely with data science, engineering, operations, and other partners and contributors across the company to fully comprehend their needs, gather requirements, and prioritize features and enhancements.

  • Upward and outward reporting: Represent the product and the team, comfortably communicating with executives as well as with business and technical interested parties.Provide clear written and verbal updates on the roadmap and progress toward goals.

  • Performance Metrics: Define and monitor key performance metrics to evaluate platform effectiveness, using data to continuously improve its performance and usability.

  • Compliance and Security: Ensure that the platform adheres to industry best practices for data privacy, security, and compliance.

Who we are

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electronics Engineering, Electrical Engineering or other technical or related fields.

  • 7+ years of product management experience in a technical domain at a data-driven company, cross functional team partnerships, and fast paced environment, along with 5+ years of experience using data analysis tools (e.g., Tableau, A|B test software) and/or scripting languages (e.g., SQL, Python) to inform product recommendations.

  • Experience defining a product vision and strategy, setting goals that incentivize incremental impact, and developing and implementing a roadmap that delivers against goals.

  • Experience working directly with engineers and data scientists to define, plan and build products for a highly technical customer base and use case.

  • Excellent written and verbal communication in English, effective with both technical and non-technical audiences.

  • Some familiarity with cloud-based machine learning platforms (e.g., Amazon Web Services (AWS) SageMaker, Google Cloud AI Platform, etc.) or non-cloud-based data preparation techniques, ML modeling frameworks and tooling, or other similar data preparation techniques and tools is required.

  • Please note that Trust and safety product management (or operations) experience is not necessary for consideration.

Salary Range Disclaimer

The base salary range represents the low and high end of the Indeed salary range for this position in the given work location. Actual salaries will vary depending on factors including but not limited to location, experience, and performance. The range(s) listed is just one component of Indeed's total compensation package for employees.
