job context and purpose

The Senior Vice President, Finance reports to the CFO of Randstad Sourceright, and is a member ofthe finance leadership team (functional) and the RSR NAM leadership team (business).

The Senior Vice President, Finance is responsible for the financial planning & analysis, decisionsupport and financial reporting functions in RSR's largest region (North America). Within North America, RSR generates revenue across the US, Canada and Mexico over RSR's key business lines of RPO, MSP, Payrolling and Mid-Market MSP offering (RCS).

Our financial planning is instrumental to the business success by acting as support for the growth of the company. We connect operational and strategic initiatives to the financial forecast through key business planning activities including routine forecasts and budgets, as well long-range financial planning. Another key objective of leading FP&A is to develop accurate and insightful analysis to co-ensure and drive the business's decision making and prioritization across the company. The Senior Vice President, Finance plays a leading role in scaling region growth while driving bottom-line results. As the trusted partner to the leadership team and field operations, the Senior Vice President, Finance will discern the \"points that matter\" from a multitude of data sources to provide useful insights about the business and drive process automation to increase the timeliness and availability of data.

The Senior Vice President, Finance has direct visibility of senior management, as well as significantinteraction with leadership across key Randstad Sourceright functional areas such as Legal, Pricingand HR, including advisors at Randstad Holding in Tax, Treasury, Risk and Group Control. As an outsourcing partner, Randstad Sourceright is undoubtedly client centric and highly innovative; our Finance units partner with client teams on a continuous basis. Our finance team often plays a key role in ensuring successful client implementations across multiple countries which demonstrates the importance of our role in key strategic decision making. This role coordinates closely with the Controllership in the local operating companies to manage themonthly close and conduct monthly & quarterly results analysis of business performance, as well assupport the development of insightful monthly business reviews for the leadership team. The position will spearhead ad hoc business analysis and ongoing management of key initiatives and investments. The position is responsible for enacting a proactive, collaborative partnership between Finance and business teams, deeply embedding the Finance function into the business, assisting and driving financial management of their areas.

what you'll do:

key deliverables

  • Outlook, quarterly forecast and annual budget aligned with strategic initiatives and financial objectives; risk and opportunity areas identified

  • Provides financial updates to business partners with an ability to translate complex financial information into digestible, meaningful content and recommendations to drive company performance

  • Provide a business partnering and sparring partnering relationship that identifies opportunities for improvement and steers to enhance business performance on an ongoing basis as part of the forecast reviews and strategic review cycle

  • Distill insights from market trends and research to steer investment and identify growth opportunities

  • Management updates on key strategic initiative results vs expectations and ROI and recommendations for improvement


  • Maintain and improve upon the long-range finance planning framework providing leadership in the development and continuous evaluation of financial short and long term strategic objectives

  • Oversight of the region's annual budget and regular forecast updates

  • Partner with business unit leaders to evaluate key trends, identify profitable growth opportunities, steer resource allocation decisions

  • Partner with sales and pricing on commercial market trends; identify opportunities for differentiated value propositions

  • Partner with local operating companies to ensure proper month-end financial reporting; including accrualling for incentives and rebates and resolve past due receivables

  • Evaluate and review of compensation plans and targets

  • Partner with Tax, Treasury, Risk, Legal to resolve contracting, cross-border scenarios, etc.

  • Drive system and process improvements to improve outlook and forecast accuracy and increase value-add analysis bandwidth

  • Hire, lead and mentor a high-functioning department that is collaborative and delivers a high quality decision support

what you'll need:

  • Extensive leadership experience in FP&A or related roles or equivalent background

  • University level degree in finance/accounting or related degree required

  • Excellent communication, interpersonal skills, and executive presence

  • Bias towards solving problems, taking action and pursuing continuous improvement

  • Identifies key issues and relationships relevant to achieving a long-range goal or vision; Builds an integrated plan for course of action to accomplish this vision

  • Strong analytical skills with advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel and Google Workspace applications; Strong digital fluency and ability to adapt to emerging technologies

  • Must be 'hands-on\" and able to work cross-functionally in a remote environment; Ability to work in a global/matrix team.
