As an Oracle Services Sales Representative, you will leverage the Oracle reputation and sales model to maximize revenue growth and increase local market share. We seek self-motivated team players who excel at cultivating strategic relationships while developing new business. You will need strong business acumen and a successful track record of selling to C–level executives, including the ability to translate client needs into value based technology solutions. Responsibilities

Responsibilities:

  1. Services Sales Executive for all Oracle Technology, Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI) products and services and Oracle SaaS.

  2. Focus areas are:

  3. IaaS and PaaS services

  4. SaaS services

  5. Oracle Enterprise Architecture Services

  6. Database Services (Migration Factory, Golden Gate, Data Guard, RAC, ASM, OEM)

  7. System and performance and architecture

  8. Exa Platform Services

  9. Application testing, performance tuning

  10. Data Center Consolidation

  11. Our services are around advisory, architecture, assessments, and expert services for Oracle Technology, including managed services sales.

  12. The successful candidate will be responsible for qualifying and developing value-add propositions for Oracle customers.

  13. Our ACS Sales Reps are responsible for finding and generating new customers, developing new accounts and/or expanding existing accounts within an established geographic territory, industry, product segment, or channel.

  14. Our ACS Sales Reps are viewed as experts in the field and are assigned to large, complex, highly visible, strategic, or tactically important accounts; they may also act in a leadership capacity.

  15. Mandatory knowledge / experience:

  16. Successful Services Sales Rep must develop strong internal relationships with the rest of the Oracle Account ecosystem.

  17. They can network and develop strong business relationships with customers so that they turn to Oracle for their resource needs.

  18. Direct Sales Experience :

  19. Minimum of 8+ years’ experience working in a direct field sales role

  20. Prior experience selling into federal agencies and/or DOD

  21. IT Sales for a solution consulting organization in the areas outlined above

  22. Oracle technology product knowledge

  23. Must demonstrate experience selling complex, multi-pillar sales solutions

  24. The successful candidate must demonstrate that they understand and practice the following traits:

  25. Territory Management & account planning

  26. Ability to segment a market/territory

  27. Ability to define sales & demand generation strategies in each of the target market segments

  28. Ability to prospect to generate leads in each of the market segments

  29. In-depth knowledge of driving the entire sales cycle, including:

  30. Ability to qualify a customer and opportunity

  31. Ability to assemble and leverage the pursuit team while maintaining control of the deal

  32. Presentation skills – customer solutions

  33. Ability to drive relationships with procurement/vendor management to negotiate terms pricing

  34. Ability to build and execute close plans

  35. Ability to forecast accurate numbers

  36. MUST have experience negotiated contract terms & conditions

  37. Must demonstrate experience selling complex, multi-pillar sales solutions

Range and benefit information provided in this posting are specific to the stated locations only

US: Hiring Range: from $93,000 to $185,200 per annum. May be eligible for equity. Eligible for commission with an estimated pay mix of 50/50.

Oracle maintains broad salary ranges for its roles in order to account for variations in knowledge, skills, experience, market conditions and locations, as well as reflect Oracle’s differing products, industries and lines of business.

Candidates are typically placed into the range based on the preceding factors as well as internal peer equity.

  8. Paid time off: Flexible Vacation is provided to all eligible employees assigned to a salaried (non-overtime eligible) position. For employees working at least 35 hours per week, the vacation accrual rate is 13 days annually for the first three years of employment and 18 days annually for subsequent years of employment. Vacation accrual is prorated for employees working between 20 and 34 hours per week. Employees working fewer than 20 hours per week are not eligible for vacation.

  10. Paid sick leave: 72 hours of paid sick leave upon date of hire. Refreshes each calendar year. Unused balance will carry over each year up to a maximum cap of 112 hours.
