The successful candidate will work with third party vendors and development staff as well as coordinate projects and planning initiatives for solution deployment. The individual will also assist in maintaining the existing MERLIN legacy code, develop database queries, and become knowledgeable in the coding and configuration of the new CARS system. This individual will provide leadership and guidance throughout the replacement project reporting on the status of the various systems and data conversion process. The ideal candidate will be comfortable with elements of project management tasks and speaking with and consulting upper management on various projects progress. This position does supervise in house staff, contractors and grant positions and the candidate would need to be comfortable with providing leadership and direction to direct reports. Minimum Qualifications: * 6-8 years of Development Experience across varying Development Languages * 6-8 years of TSQL Experience * 1-2 years supervising staff and/or leading staff in development initiatives * Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or related degree * * Preferred Qualifications: * Project Management Experience * Experience in the Motor Vehicle industry strongly * Experience working with FAST Configuration Framework The selection procedures to be used in evaluating the applicant's qualification may include, but are not limited to, an evaluation of the résumé and cover letter, a structured interview, performance test, academic transcripts, reference/background checks and fingerprint checks.
