About the Team

This team is responsible for the AP Potential, CLEP, and Accuplacer products. Their priorities are keeping applications running in production and supporting production operations as well as continuing to migrate applications to the cloud.

About the Opportunity

You will be responsible for the entire lifecycle of your code: development, test, production, and subsequent fixes and improvements. In addition, you will improve the development experience at College Board by enhancing tools, test coverage, and code structure. You will work within an agile team (Kanban) that maintains highly visible and mission-critical applications.

In this role you will:
Work in a DevOps agile team in an AWS ecosystem, creating testing strategies and developing automated testing code for back-end services, front-end applications, and infrastructure.
Implement testing automation using JavaScript, Jest, Mocha, Web Driver IO/ Selenium, and node.js with the goal of achieving 100% test automation.
Execute the test automation using either WebDriver IO or Selenium in AWS environment
Create and maintain automated functional and system tests to replicate complex real-world scenarios
Develop the code and test automation suite to support security features, technical scoping ensuring that features deliver the expected functionality with high quality
Build, deploy and maintain web applications in AWS environment (Lambda, DynamoDB and SQS/SNS).
Ensure that continuous integration is performed on the application source code and constantly seek to enhance the continuous integration methods of the development team to ensure extremely high quality of code.
Participate in production deployment and validation of application functionality and data.

About You
You have 4 plus years of experience in software automation testing (End-2-End, API, Database, User Interface, etc.).
You have a minimum of 2 years' experience with JavaScript production level code development.
You have hands on experience in the following automated technologies: Mocha / Chai / Jest Frameworks, and WebDriver IO or Selenium.
You have some experience with AWS services including Lambda, DynamoDB and SQS/SNS.
