Software Engineer II

Overview of Position We are seeking a Software Engineer II to join our Pharmacy Engineering team and work with the Pharmacy Business Unit. This role will give exposure to SQL Server, Azure, as well as real-time pharmacy processing. Working with MedRX team helping to transition Apps to Azure .

What will be my duties and responsibilities in this job?

  • Plans, designs, develops and tests software systems or applications for software enhancements and new products including cloud-based or internet-related tools

  • Works on problems of moderate scope where analysis of situations or data requires a review of a variety of factors

  • Builds productive internal/external working relationships

What are the requirements needed for this position?

  • Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related or 4 years of relevant experience in lieu of degree

  • 1+ years’ work experience in .Net, Linux/Windows and SQL Server

  • 1+ years of hands-on functional engineering expertise in critical distributed systems environments

  • 1+ years’ experience working with or developing testing architectures for scalable, high performance, distributed systems and services, running on private and public cloud architectures (e.g. Azure)

  • 1+ years’ experience in multi-threaded applications and high-volume client-server systems

What other skills/experience would be helpful to have?

  • Experience with CI/CD release management processes and source control/pipeline systems

  • Exposure to CI/CD release management processes and source control/pipeline systems

  • Extensive knowledge of Medicare claims systems (NCPDP)
