Software Systems Architect
The Enterprise Replication group within the Oracle RDBMS is chartered to deliver the core platform for Oracle GoldenGate to support heterogeneous replication and information sharing across different operating systems and different database vendors.
Oracle GoldenGate enables real-time, continuous movement of transactional data across operational and analytical business systems. It provides real-time access to real-time information and is the strategic platform for enterprise replication and the future of
data integration. It is used by over thousands of customers across Fortune 500 companies.

We are looking for a highly self-motivated software systems architect to drive the development of the next generation data replication and data integration platform. The successful candidate is an exceptional C/C++ programmer with breadth and depth in building high performance distributed systems with a focus on scalability, reliability and restful services. Highly qualified developers(consulting member of technical staff) with strong desire to take a leadership role may be considered.

Responsibilities
As a member of the software engineering division, you will take an active role in the definition and evolution of standard practices and procedures. Suggest and justify product directions within approved directions. Define responsibilities for new projects and specifies, designs and develops software according to those specifications. Provide consultative software guidance and strategic direction associated with the developing, designing and debugging of software applications or operating systems.

US: Hiring Range in USD from: $161,700 to $338,500 per annum. May be eligible for bonus, equity, and compensation deferral.
Oracle maintains broad salary ranges for its roles in order to account for variations in knowledge, skills, experience, market conditions and locations, as well as reflect Oracle’s differing products, industries and lines of business.
Candidates are typically placed into the range based on the preceding factors as well as internal peer equity.

Paid time off: Flexible Vacation is provided to all eligible employees assigned to a salaried (non-overtime eligible) position. Accrued Vacation is provided to all other employees eligible for vacation benefits. For employees working at least 35 hours per week, the vacation accrual rate is 13 days annually for the first three years of employment and 18 days annually for subsequent years of employment. Vacation accrual is prorated for employees working between 20 and 34 hours per week. Employees working fewer than 20 hours per week are not eligible for vacation.
