Salesforce launched Net Zero Cloud in 2021, this is a key innovation for Salesforce. Role Description

A successful Net Zero Cloud SE will not only be joining one of the highest growth teams within Salesforce but will have a diverse and varied role due to the timing and scale of the opportunity. You will be responsible for advocating not only our Net Zero Cloud product but also staying updated on sustainability initiative and policies. The Net Zero Solutions Engineering team is a team of technologist, industry and business process experts that support direct sales to prospects, customers, and partners by creating, packaging, and demonstrating innovative solutions for a client’s needs.

  • A proven track record of success as an Solution Engineer – ideally a minimum 2 years of experience in a similar role

  • Experience working with leading climate change platforms and processes (e.g. the Taskforce on Climate Related Financial Disclosures (TCFD)).

  • Manage key external and internal sustainability conversations and partnerships in support of the company sustainability strategy, spanning net zero to product priorities.

  • Be able to work with an extended sales team to plan and execute upon a targeted sales campaign

  • Having the curiosity and tenacity to undertake deep, relevant client discovery and to ensure that the resulting presentation and solution demonstration solves for the identified business challenges

  • Excellent presentation and communication skills, comfortable presenting to a crowd of a thousand, a CXO, or a small digital marketing team

  • A passion for story telling to bring customer engagements to life using impactful presentation and solution demonstration content

  • Agility to thrive on change, and variety, often working across multiple concurrent customer engagements

  • Be an autonomous self-starter that is able to manage and prioritise tasks effectively

  • Be up to date of the latest trends in customer experience management solutions, technologies and ESG initiatives.

  • Have an appetite to innovate Salesforce solutions to drive improvements in both customer and colleague experience

  • Have a passion for continual personal development

Nice to have:

  • Salesforce NetZero Cloud and or Salesforce Platform knowledge is a plus

  • Previous practitioner and/or implementation experience of Salesforce solutions or relevant solutions

  • Salesforce related development experience ( Force.com , Java or C#, JavaScript), mobile development, modern frameworks, etc.

  • Global Reporting Initiative (GRI) Professional Certification.

  • Sustainability Accounting Standards Board (SASB) Fundamentals of Sustainability Accounting Credential.

  • CDP Climate Change Survey Certification

  • Integrated Reporting (IR) Fundamentals of Integrated Reporting Certificate.

  • Worked for a SaaS computing company
