Overview of Job Function:
The Sr. Client Analyst is a strategic insights expert who is responsible for survey design, data evaluation, and development of in-depth insights tied to client business challenges. The Sr. Client Analyst works closely with clients to understand their business goals and identify data and research requirements for decision-making. They lead research design and its continuous improvement to drive business outcomes. The Sr. Analyst creates compelling data-driven stories showing trends and improvement opportunities for our clients’ business practices. They are also extremely adept at working with and presenting to senior audiences (e.g., C-suite) and fielding questions in real-time.
Principal Duties and Essential Responsibilities:
Own analysis and evaluation of data.
Find opportunities to enhance survey design and analyses, e.g., include meta data or custom variables, etc.
Demonstrate subject matter expertise in relevant industries and incorporates into customer presentations (Industries such as retail, finance, telecom, utilities, or government).
Deliver recommendations and improvement opportunities that specifically address client’s data-based insights.
Present findings to client audience either through a conference call or (occasionally) in person.
Provide guidance and recommendations to enhance survey research/design, insight generation and presentation of findings.
Mentor Analysts and lead Analyst training sessions.
Conduct peer reviews to ensure overall data story aligns to scope and objectives.
Provide expertise and evaluation of potential analytical tools to conduct superior analytics.
Scope new projects, working directly with clients to develop and deliver final estimates.
Manage and updates project deliverable timeline and communicating changes to the client and account team.
Track time against project hours available balancing quality and thoroughness with utilization goals.
Minimum Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree in related field or equivalent work experience
Minimum of 5 years’ experience in analysis
Experience with advanced analytic tools (e.g., SPSS, Tableau, R, PowerBI, advanced Excel)
Expertise with MS PPT, MS Word, MS Excel, MS Outlook, MS OneNote
Proven track record of transforming information into actionable insights
Advanced analytic skills to build and analyze data sets from complex data sources
Experience designing compelling visualizations and creating clear and engaging presentations in PowerPoint
Excellent verbal and written communicator
Presentation and story-telling skills
Ability to take action and execute with a strong history of delivering projects and tasks on time and to specification
Successful completion of a background screening process including, but not limited to, employment verifications, criminal search, OFAC, SS Verification, as well as credit and drug screening, where applicable and in accordance with federal and local regulations
Preferred Requirements:
MBA/ MA/ MMR degree
Experience with JIRA and Salesforce
Solid understanding of technology fundamentals and current trends within the Voice of Customer arena (web, mobile, in-location, etc.)
Customer facing experience and project management in a SaaS environment
Ability to work in a high energy and demanding work environment with a keen sense of urgency
Proven performance of exceeding goals while working both independently and within a team
