Sr Director - Tech Ops

Role Overview:

Reporting to theVP, Cloud Operations, Skyhigh Security is seeking a customer focused, proven Technical Operations and experienced people leader to assume the role of Sr Director, Tech Ops. In this role your charter will be to develop strategy and drive operational excellence of Skyhigh Security’s global cloud infrastructure with teams located in multiple global locations.

About the Role:

You will lead our cloud infrastructure technology strategy and vision, with emphasis on delivering robust, resilient, and scalable solutions to meet Skyhigh Security growth objectives

Instill consistency and best practices in cloud infrastructure service management, process, and procedures across the organization

Drive a measurable disciplined approach to operationalize and scale cloud operations initiatives to meet or exceed customer expectations on SLA and quality

Introduce innovative, differentiating cloud capabilities that enhance the overall competitive posture

Establish clear and aspirational goals while committing the organization to improved performance and accountability

Develop and mentor a high performing team of global professionals with focus on attracting, motivating, and developing best-in-class talent

Foster culture of collaboration with cross functional teams (e.g., Engineering, Customer Success, Product management) and 3rd party providers/vendors

Plans, provides resources for and directs activities in engineering function to meet schedules, standards, and cost. Cultivates and reinforces appropriate group values, norms and behaviors. Identifies and analyzes problems, plans, tasks, and solutions. Provides guidance on employee development, performance, and productivity issues. Plans and schedules daily tasks, uses judgement on a variety of problems requiring deviation from standard practices. Inadequacies and erroneous decisions would cause moderate inconvenience and expense.
